You knowingly bought your Ps3 with controllers that had no rumble.

I knew it had no rumble because of the law suit with immersion and the 'Last gen' remark was merely damage control for a rumbleless controller. But I also knew that either a sustitute rumble technology would be developed or found by Sony or they will settle with Immersion - so rumble will eventually return.

Lair is going to be a disappointment...primarily gameplay. Of all the videos I've seen so far, the apparent gameplay and AI sucks. Needs the God of War factor which it appears it doesn't have.
That's the key here.

We're looking for E3 to show or give more information on a variety of quality games that we know about and secret new great IPs.....as well as the return of rumble of course.
"Getting news/gameplay on KZ2 would be great due to all the controversy and dishing since the 2005 trailer and the underperforming KZ. But sheer variety of games that are coming out for the Ps3 clearly has us all excited about about E3.

Halo 3 and KZ2 are exclusive to their respective console - u can't play either on both machines. So they aren't competing against each other.
Haze(2007) vs KZ2 - yes
Haze(2008) vs Halo 3 - yes.
Halo 3 vs KZ2 - no.
And if you have both consoles you'll buy both games anyway so there's no competition.
Although, I'll be gr8 if we finally get to see some gameplay.
Sony has so many diverse games coming - that we know of already let alone the unknown - that the anticipation is just pure torture. They will own E3 seeing that apart from price, the lack of quality games has been their major shortcoming. Now news on a price drop and confirmed return of rumble will kill all.
Microsoft prob show a few good games but Halo 3 will dominate. But enough of the hype already. ...
All gamers are in for a treat with TF2.

It's an old gen technology that is now standard and expected for all controllers.
NB. Sixaxis is a next gen technology - it never achieved its potential last gen - that will also become a standard for controllers.
It should have the bulkier size and general form of the xbox 360 controller - has a better feel especially for shooters.
This will obviously allow more space for batteries.
Also a remade controller needs to:
* move the analogue sticks to the top - not offset.
* replace L2, R2 with triggers.
But back to the topic: c'mon guys, you really have to get a life. I'm talking about those who would spend more than 10 hours straight gaming. The...

But the PS2 didn't have much competition in the xbox 360 & others.
Now it does have competition.
If you don't think it is going to come down faster then last gen....and even reach $199 or less in the next 6 years, then u r and kidding yourself.
The bulkier 360 controller has a better feel in hand.
It will also provide plenty of space for more batteries, a more complex rumble system.
Offsetting the analogue sticks is crap though - an obvious 360 quirk.
A new controller should have:
- the general 360 size and form
- both Analogue sticks moved to the top
- the four buttons moved down down, next to the D-Pad
- L2 & R2 replaced with triggers.

OK, its a CGI video for a psp game but those type of graphics would be possible with gameplay on a next gen version. Plz Sony, give us SFX.

K.I.S.S. Simple MMO game and make it fun. Kinda reminds me of Warhawk....the idea that is.
