Fallout 3 is almost my favorite game of all time. Built a new PC just to play it maxed out lol. That first moment you exit the vault, your eyes adjust and BAM! You see the open vista of the wasteland in all its post apocalyptic glory. Still stands as one those OMFG moments that I'll never forget.
If they do announce Fallout 4 I think I'll prob just bust a nut on the spot!
Just like to add. All four of us are planning on getting an xbox1 down the line. We are just going to wait for two things.
1. A price drop or two.
2. A game to be released that makes the console worth buying. Cause so far I am yet to see one that does.
On that point. I have several mates who had all pre ordered an Xbox1 who were oblivious to its weaknesses compared to the ps4. I emailed them some articles and info. And we discussed it last game's night we had.
Guess who canceled their pre orders this week?! They are now going to be waiting in line launch day hoping to score a ps4. And they honestly said they would rather miss out and have to wait than settle for an xbox1.
I'm confused. Does this game have andy kinect features/controls?
I would have thought if this was supposed to be the flagship Xbox1 launch title, shouldn't kinect functionality have featured heavily? Was it even mentioned at all in the preview?
This kinda sucks. This was the only Xbox1 exclusive I was even remotely interested in.

Shadow Fall just keeps impressing. The fact that they keep improving/adding effects and detail to the game while still managing to improve the performance is testament to the ease of development with the PS4.
This is only a launch title after all, so the next batch of truly "Next Gen" games will a step up again. Just imagine what ND have in store for us?!
My question is thus.
What about the people who live in Country's that has a less than stellar Internet connection? Do they suddenly become ineligible for the Titanfall experience?
What about us Ausies on the other side of the world, will latency negatively effect our game play experience?
I don't understand how computing stuff like AI in the cloud would be feasible without local servers for each region at the very least. And even then...
Don't care. Cause I won't be playing it. From all reports it's a POS anyway. Outdated engine. Snooze worthy SP campaign. MP is just more of the same crap COD has been for the last 3-4yrs.

I played it on PC and it was not very visually impressive. If the engine has been updated and the game play balance adjusted, they might have a winner on their hands.
PC version was ok fun and free, but not anything to write home about.

Titanfall is looking good. All the reports I've read say that gameplay wise its great, an immense amount of fun and all.
But Most people that have had some hands on time with the game all agree on its shortcomings from a technical and graphical point of view. Even on PC the choice to go with the Source engine gives the game a very "last gen" feel. It just doesn't have that jaw dropping "WOW" factor Halo did when it released.

You don't really need a huge drive, games will just cache data as required. No need for huge permanent installs. If this works well a 500Gb drive will be more than enough.

I think the launch line up is great.
More than enough to keep me occupied for months really considering I only manage to game about 5-7hrs a week.
I'm a patient man, I'd rather they delay and then release a quality product than have them rush out a POS unfinished game, just to make "the launch window".

I like the old school slow shambling zoms. They should go down with one perfectly placed head shot/stab ect. But be tough as fk if you are a noob and go for body shots.
Zombies are all about numbers and that they are relentless in their pursuit, and quiet enough (they be sneaky fk'ers) to get the jump on you.
The fast ones are messed up scary (aka World War Z spec) but I think they make for a less fun gaming experience.

Sigh. It's their own fault really. I really wanted the Xbox1 to be good. And could have even forgiven all the systems shortcomings.
The lies and deception are why I am seriously considering not even getting a xbox1 even as a second machine. I'll give M$ the benefit of the doubt. But they have a lot of work to do before I'll give them any of my hard earned coin.
I hoping for an evolution of the game play mechanics from previous games (fallout 3, NV) and not a complete overhaul.
Kind of what they do with each elder scrolls game. Same core mechanics, just more scope and flexibility. Not to mention a huge jump in the visuals and size/intricacy of the environments.
If Fallout 4 is to fallout 3, what Skyrim was to Oblivion. I'll be overjoyed!
