@hesido
You could hdmi to the TV for video and use an optical cable from the PS4 to your amp.
It means its a pretty tech demo. Like all of Crytek games it will be visually impressive but game play will be non existent.
M$ are just hoping they can push some numbers before the reviews come in and everyone realizes how little depth the game has.
Typical M$, zero openness and transparency.
If you are trying to say Rivals looks the same on both consoles then you might want to read some reviews.
Not only is depth of field effect missing in the Xbox1 version. But it also uses a simpler less taxing version of ambient occlusion.
So again no parity. PS4 version is graphically superior.
@MorePowerOfGreen.
Dude. No offense. But did you smoke a whole bowl of green before posting that?!
I don't even know where to begin! Please do your self a favor. Find this site called Google, and do some reading about PS4 and Xbox1 hardware.
Then sit down and decide what you want out of your next generation console. If you want the most powerful hardware and the best looking version of multi platform games then you might want to rethink ...
Sure.......
There is also a chance that I will spontaneous combust sitting in my arm chair. About the same chance that multi plats will look identical on both consoles.
Gimping for parity will never happen. What a ridiculous premise.
Who cares!? I have played heaps of competitive FPS online with and without "dedicated servers". One does not necessarily offer a better experience to the other.
As far as I'm concerned its all just marketing BS! Either a game needs to be hosted by a server or it doesn't. Dedicated or not makes sweet FA difference IMO.
KZ running Peer to Peer works brilliantly and does away with any need for servers at all, dedicated or otherwise.
Plus out 4G network is woefully inadequate outside of metropolitan area's.
Very cool tech though. Vita will be my xmas present to myself!
The interesting thing is that if indeed its bent HDMI pins causing the majority of issues, I'd hazard a guess and say it's user error, not SONY's fault.
It's crazy how rough people are with electronics. I watched a mate setting up his new TV the other day. Had to walk away. Was like watching some cave man learn to use tools for the first time lol
I agree about the AI. Hopefully the hard setting is more realistic.
Plus this is still in like early alpha code so still a long way to go and heaps of room for improvement.
I'm sorry but how in an 8/10 for Shadow Fall a bad score?
Ok so it's not the master piece that Uncharted or TLOU are but that's still a great score for a launch title.
If was rushed to be a "day one" release and on new hardware. I think the devs should be proud.
Day one purchase for me.
Plus I've read a heap of reviews and there seems to be a huge discrepancy between scores. Everything from a 5/10 ...
Also.
It was interesting that the logo was "Uncharted" not "Uncharted 4"
Reboot, or not necessarily staring Nathan Drake? While I'd miss Nathan, this might be cool!
Nut busted!!
PS4 1080p 60fps
Xbox1 720p 60fps
Prediction made.
Yea. I like the big sites for all the interviews and insider info. But I long ago learned to ignore their review scores.
There are so many awesome legit reviews from smaller sites if only you take five minutes to look around a bit.
Google is your friend ;-)
Just looks like a faulty HDMI cable.
Honestly. When GPU's fail they don't do that WTF! It's so ridiculous what people will post to try and stir up the fan boys lol.
Its cool you don't need the camera just the bundled mic. I have zero interest in the camera. But some simple voice commands might be fun.
I'd say so. If IW have any sanity at all they would address the frame rate issues before they bothered with a jump in resolution.
Hopefully they have patches ready for the PC, PS4 and Xbox1 as they all suffer from horrid frame rate drops and general lack of optimization.
This is awesome to know. Makes sense now that many reviewers were stating very little difference between the two SP experiences. And also makes sense that many reviewers stated that the PS4 version of MP looked much crisper than the Xbox1 version.
PS4 owners can look forward to a big jump in visual fidelity in the SP campaign come launch day. Say good bye to those jaggies and muddy/blurry visuals (at least on the PS4 ;-p)
I think that's probably more the video quality. SP is said to be pushing close to 60fps sometimes and normally hovers around the 45fps mark.
Initially developers were targeting 60fps MP and 30fps SP. Last I heard SP had eclipsed the initial target of 30fps and they were hoping for closer to 60fps (not not locked, dynamic so dips here and there like BF4 SP) for final release code.
Guess we'll see in a day or two. Fingers crossed SP is smooth. Even v-...
Wft! Seriously.
So it's marketed as an all in one "wonder box", but is incapable of something as simple as hdmi "pass through"!!
Lols. My $199 pioneer amp is capable of this. Epic fail!!
What sound formatt does it pass through? Stereo? I mean come on. Even free to air TV broadcasts are digital surround sound these days.
