If you don't like it fine, but don't act like there is some conspiracy at hand. Halo's multiplayer owns everything except maybe COD4. COD4 is the first console game to be Halo's equal or maybe better depending on preference in multiplayer.

However, PS3 fanaticism for this game just shows how starved the PS3 owners were for a great exclusive game. Most act like the game is flawless which is sort of creepy in light of the flaws that have been pointed out by reviews. Don't forget Fable 2 this year. Game looks pretty sweet. I am also surprised that X360 is getting all the RPG love. I think they just figure that the FPS craze is waning and want to move away from them.

You can frame it no matter how you want but a 3rd grader knows that a 20K sales difference in one month is not a lot when there is over a 6 million console difference worldwide to begin with and the USA is the top market out there.
Don't get me wrong. I enjoy watching all of "Team PS3" pat each other on the backs and pretend that the PS3 is really gaining significant ground. It's good entertainment. However, just remember to put things in perspective.

Just that the cost of the motherboard they're using is going down. it happens with all technology. When a console launches a lot of the technology is cutting edge so it's expensive to mass produce. as the console ages that technology becomes less cutting edge and expensive so the price drops. it's why you can buy a ps2 for $129 now. it's still the same quality but the technology is just cheaper.

Consoles sell more units in one week in the USA than they do a whole month in Japan. Heck, the UK is a bigger market than Japan. The Japanese only want to buy the Wii then they'll slowly be phased out as a demographic for non-casual, non-portable games. It's no wonder devs like Square enix are jumping ship for the western market.
The point of the article is to illustrate a) that the Wii is kicking butt and chewing bubblegum and b) point out that the game may not be the blockbuster everyone thought it would be in the USA. Blockbusters like Halo 3, GTA 4, or Super Smash Bros are #1 on launch day, no questions.
They're the #1 online outlet in the United States. There have been a ton of stories approved regarding sales on Amazon for the bundle and many other games.
I didn't really like the original and hated the second one. I won't be fooled again. In my opinion Kojima is an over-rated storyteller. His stories act out like bad Hollywood blockbusters. This wouldn't be so bad (it's a video game, afterall!) if he didn't ram them down your throat with each installment in the form of drawn out, badly edited cut-scenes. I wish someone would tell him more does not equal better but I suppose he's the emperor with no clothes at Konami.

Keep telling yourself that Uncharted and MGS4 look better than COD4 X360 and Gears of War and maybe it will come true! MGS4's graphical quality is about on par with Assassin's Creed for the 360. Of course, you probably don't know that because Assassin's Creed looked bad on the PS3.

The mass defection of 3rd party developers from Nintendo to Sony is what fueled the PS & PS2's popularity. Even the timed exclusives sold a bunch of Playstations back in the day. People eventually got sick of getting another console's leftovers and the word gets out to the average Joe Shmo that one console is the console to buy above all others.
The console war is only really decided when the price drop war begins.

Yes, after googling it I did surmise that it is for the USA and the numbers are valid. However, a forum post being approved that is not oficially from a dev or producer or other important gaming rep is against the guidelines of N4G. That is my point.
