It would be nice if you could carry over your previous stats from the first game. Some of them medals are a b!tch to get!
Looking forward to this game. Screen shots look great.
Any Joe soap can bring a spurious case against a company claiming they've being ripped off. Most cases don't even make it as far as court and are thrown out. It is the cases that are upheld that count.
I've been in the games and PC trade since 1990. Microsoft are in a league of their own when it come to multinationals being fined and SUCCESSFULLY sued.
BTW Did you check to see how many hits you got for "Microsoft sued" when you put it in google?
Are you sure about Halo being the most played on xbl? I thought COD4 held that title.
when i read the line "we're not asking Microsoft to sink to Sony's Level"!
That site has no shame, Microsoft aren't the worlds most fined company fo no reason!
gameplayer.com.au - you truly suck ass with the best of them!
the way I see this is unless the specs of the consoles are similar, companies producing games are going to choose the lowest common denominator and engineer the game for the lowest spec console - the 360.
example - I found that GTA4 was much shorter, in game content, than San Andreas. Why?? The only reason I could think of (correct me if I'm wrong) is that Rockstar was limited by the available space on the 360 DVD. In this case PS3 owners in all probability lost out big time on...
It's a last gen, Budget console with a gimmicky controller that shouldn't be even mentioned in the same sentence as a PS3 or 360.
This has to be a wind-up! What difference would it make what system he played it on, he could still follow the story. Somebodies pulling someones leg here!
But until I see TS4 running at 1080p with a top notch next gen physics and AI engine, I'll assume that they are still using the HAZE engine and if so, I'll avoid TS4.
I've been a fan of FR for many years. I bought HAZE and completed it. I could not believe how bad the textures were in some parts. I spent so long looking forward to HAZE and it was such a disappointment.
Hopefully TS4 will be better but I wont be rushing out to buy it first day like I did with HAZE...
If this provides more income for the development of games of the caliber of MGS4 it would be worth it. My only fear would be that the DVD disks on the 360 would limit any future games developed. We would end up with far more down-loadable content, that we would probably have to pay for.
without paying a yearly subscription for an account? If you can then your demo's are free. If not you are paying for the demo. nuff said!
Update seems to be working perfectly on my PAL 60gig model.
Strange this... I have had one game stall since march 2007 when I got my PS3. GTA4 always worked perfectly. I've only had problems with two games COD4 and Haze and these seemed to vanish over time.
Anyone out there with a PAL 60gig model that has had any firmware update problems?
I've also downloaded the new version of Tversity and it run fine with the new firmware. I have an older Euro 60gig launch model PS3. No complaints here!
I'm a big Free Radical Fan but unless they improve on the lackluster graphics that HAZE suffered from and the shoddy game play I won't buy TS4. I expect 1080p and a game that is better than TS2, which is the best FPS they have produced.
I was so disappointed with HAZE. It is a pity because I have bought every other game that they have made in the past, for my games collection and loved every one.
Both versions look like sh!t compared to MGS4.
What a whiner! A few hours down is hardly the end of the world. Some guys just gotta b!tch about something!
I'm willing to put money on this that the quality of these games will plummet with each release.
EA - "It's in the Game" - you can be sure that the only thing that EA see in a game is money.
With business analysis like that and inaccurate figures it's a wonder the site or paper is read at all.
I prefer disc myself. Nothing like trading in those old games for something new.
Does anyone else not think that companies are just trying to eliminate the used games market with direct downloads?
What game-play would this be now? You don't sound like you've ever played RFOM.
