I finished GTA4 and felt a little bit dissappointed with it. It wasn't a stitch on San Andreas. Buy MGS4 it's really that good!
It couldn't explain the scratched disks issue.
The power supply went on two of my brother in laws 360's. He is on his 3rd 360 (elite) at the moment.
I'm still playing it at the moment. I'll reserve my final judgement on Haze until I finish it but so far it hasn't lived up to any of Free Radicals previous games. I would even go as far as to say that it doesn't even have a Free Radical feel to it. Very sparse with the weapons too. There is such an unfinished feel to it.
I thought the vehicles and driving were very badly done.
I'm not surprised that it sold the numbers it did. I and many others would have bought...
Pity COD4 was the first in the series I liked. Far too many online glitches and problems though.
I've had one freeze on my 60 gig launch model Euro PS3 and I'm roughly 49 hours played.
HS was such a unique PS3 experience. I loved the game. The cut scenes were great. Nice fighting techniques. Nice use of the SIXAXIS. A PS3 classic.
!!! Talking out of your @ss boy.
I've got a PS2 bought at Xmas 2000 and it is still running perfectly. That is after my son, 5 years of age, has been playing it for the last two!
Not one of my mates with a 360 has not had a problem and had to have their machine fixed (for a price by MS) or in some cases (my brother in law) they have been stupid enough to buy another 360 console from MS on one of their upgrade to an elite deals. Already some of them are planing to...
at the moment I've got as far as the switch from Mantel to Red Hand. I can see why it has gotten so much bad press. The graphics in places are very ps2 looking. I'm such a big Free Radical fan that I was shocked by the level of some of the textures and I still haven't been able to play online.
I'm still plodding through HAZE and I'm keeping an open mind on the game until I've completed it (it has some nice gameplay and ideas to it) but if Timesplitters is not slated in at 1080p...
But you've got to remember that Switzerland has a fraction of the population that America has. In addition to this, the standard of living for the public there is much higher. So Joe Soap on the street has a little bit more to spend than Joe Soap in the USA.
the amount of publicity generated on sites like N4G with "Rumour - Bioshock Not Coming to PS3" and "Rumour - Bioshock Coming to PS3" is more than enough reason for 2K Boston/Australia not to confirm anything and keep it secret.
What the H3ll!!! Why delete that post. It's not like I insulted anyone! Have you read the sh!t others have posted online here!
Read Bloodmasks post.
Maybe that was all the time they needed to get Bioshock running at 1080p? Who knows, what improvements they might have managed in this time.
Looking forward to finishing this game. I only ever got to check the demo out on the PC.
Edit - @ The Wood - yeah good point he does deserve a bubble. Begrudgingly I'll give him one too.
Plenty of sheep out there and vested interests. I'm buying this tomorrow based on Free Radicals reputation alone.
Reckon I'll chance the 70 Euro on this one!
But lets be honest here. If it is a PS3 platform exclusive most of the American owned sites are going to slate it. American businesses (in parnership with MS) don't want gamers to buy anything that isn't going to bring money back into their pockets. The 'console war' has degenerated into this, led by American big businesses.
I've bought and played lair, IGN scored it 4.9/10. That is a b*llshit score and a biased review, as anyone else that has played it will tell you.
...
you got a link to that review with its score? I don't mean to doubt you......
bought mine off ebay couple of weeks ago. Got a pain in my ass waiting for it to be released in the EU. It only cost 37 Euro.
Any idea what that works out per second?
Can any one tell me why they think Xbox Live is worth 50 bucks a year compared to the Free PSN?
