Well I finally picked up a used 20 gig 360 the other day . It cost me 150 Euro with 3 games (Gears 2, COD MW and COD WAW) If I had not bought this machine for such a cheap price with the games included I’d be pretty p!ssed off. Have 360 owners set their benchmark so low that they insist that this machine trumps the PS3!?

I've had a good look at the NXE on my mates 360, God that dude at slashgamer.com must have a terrible boring life if he finds the NXE exciting!
But I truly beleive that SE will have to cut and dumb down the latest FF due to its release for the 360.
Once Sony implement that, the PSN will definitely be on par if not better than xbox live.

When Gears of War came out there was very few games available on the 360. All we really ever played was Tiger Woods and Fifa prior to gears 1.

The only difference between the two consoles now is the 360 has a years advantage.
You'd have to be 'hardcore' to purchase a console that is a stripped down PC with a major failure rate.
But it will be getting bought in December along with resistance 2 for Christmas. There will definitely be a spike in sales by then.
Things are tight at the moment for a lot of people, games will be bought at certain times due to this.

That figure will include the approximately 3.3 million 360s that were replaced due to the failure rate and extended warranty. Realistically the worldwide figure for WORKING (not sold) 360s is about 19 million.
MS are truly going to pay through the nose for releasing the 360 knowing full well that it was riddled with faults. Then in turn mounting a campaign to hide these problems.
There are already 2 class action suits being brought against MS in California over the 360 (disk drive and RROD). This is just the start.

It's not great news hearing about such an iconic studio failing. I have to say I'm very disappointed. Until Free Radical had released HAZE, I would never have had a bad word to say about a game of theirs.
RIP Free Radical and your super spin on shooters. I will definitely miss your brand of humour (and the monkeys).
