I've always had my eye on this game. Future based games such as this appeal to me.

One problem is it a bit hard to tell who is being the idiot singing into his mic. But if you go into the sounds, the person will turn yellow when he is talking, and that way, even if your not close, you call tell who the loud guy is and mute him.
Just the other day someone was speaking spanish into the mic non-stop, and nobody was responding or understanding. So I muted him.
Turns out, the game already has a mute feature.
Now the Locoroco song is in my head for atleast another 48 hrs, and I'd just gotten rid of it!!!
Consider Halo 3. If they were to have released 10,000 copies of the game 2 weeks early, they wouldn't come close to meeting demand, so they could sell them for $300 a pop possibly (more or less, who knows?) and still sell every one of those 10,000 copies. Price to high? Yes. Appropriate for the current supply? Yes, so it ballences out.

OK, you're infiltrating a fortress and there are hundreds of guards walking their nightly patrols and you have to sneak past them. You know the scene. But this time they've replaced all the guards with real players on the net. Well what would have been a normal guard patrol turns into a mass panic for no apparent reason, one guard is team killin people while others are sprinting around tyring to find you in the bushes, and about 40 people are camping the main obejective on high alert waiti...

I wonder how this game will be received? The fact that it comes from EA makes me check twice before picking it up. I may get it if it has good reviews.

Are they going to be selling cards in the stores for this game? Or do you just play with the cards that come with it?
If they're selling it I'll just bust out some cardstock and a printer and make my own, that eye's never going to notice it's not a official card. Plus then you can get all the "rare" cards you want.

Yeah, I've considered taking some of my PSN buddies and coming up with some pact that we'd play 2 hrs every night and that we wouldn't play ahead by ourselves. That way we'd co-op our way though without knowing what was coming. Gota play on a harder difficulty as well. :)
LOL, I can see TK's kids opening their X-mas package to find a Halo: Combat Evolved case, and then they open that and find the HAZE disk inside, but it's crossed out and has Halo written to the side of it with a sharpie. They'll never know the difference.... LOL
In Resistance the Chimara can see though walls sometimes. I could criticize Resistance and say that the humans wear purple overalls and run around, but thats just not true.
The game is attempting to simulate a hightend state of awareness. Now for the time being their only way to simulate this is through visual or audio. Perhaps in the future they'll tap into your brain stem and feed an intuition into your brain, but until then were stuck with glowing characters.
It will be like that online. Similar to the Chimara seeing through walls in Resistance if you have that. It's just one of the advantages the one side gets. But dont worry, the other side has counters and their advantages as well.

I didn't read the review, but I would guess this review factors in the 6 dolar cost. Seems some other sites were compairing it to all the $60 dolar games.
I've had a $12 lunch I'd give 10 out of 10 to, and it's over in 35 mins. This game costs $6, and last around 10 hours before you've had your fill.

But it did occure to me that perhaps the norm is to have salaried employees, which means they get paid like mercenaries (if thats a reasonable comparison). "We give you this much if you give us this game."
I don't know for sure though.
It's true though, overtime is the law. If this is so unusual it makes the news, then what is the normal payment system everyone else uses?
