Looks like Insomniac has lead both waves of PS3 games. They lead gen 1 with awesome Resistance FOM, and now their leading in the November game explosion with RC:TOD. :D
Well, as a game the DEMO blows hard. It's not that fun, but does begin to show you the level up progression of the game and gets you excited for the real thing. Hmmm, now that I think of it, thats what a demo is suppost to be.
Played it a few weeks ago when I picked up the demo at GameStop...
When camping in Resistance I'll sometimes just watch the weapon spawns slowly spin. They look just as detailed on the map as they do in front of your face. They weapons do look preaty square 'n' all, I would expect them to still look preaty good in game.
Sony isn't responsible for how I use their hardware.
If this is the case, then why isn't Dell sued? We all know theirs thousands of Dells downloading illegal movies, using P2P and sealing music, using illegal software, etc. Is this Dells fault?
Also, how is you using a free Office Suite causing Sony a "can of worms," is MS going to sue them because "Hey, that free open source program, developed by the public, stole our ideas! Waaa Waa!"
When I've heard about this media some place besides the remote corners of the internet then I'll give it a second look.
I dunno, maybe your right. But if we PS3 fans feel a little defensive about our console now, just wait until the next XBox 2009 has 2 or 3 times the PS3's power.
Sony's not going to leave us hanging either, they'll release the PS4.

This would probably be bad for PS3 fans as well. Sony sees MS bust out a new console, and they fallow suit. Sony is fighting to release the consol at a price they deem acceptable, and to get that acceptable price down to $400 they had to remove the BC. What's so complicated about that? If you want BC, you can buy a better version, keep your PS2, or buy a new ps2 for $100 somewhere. Don't want to buy a 100 dolar ps2? Funny that ps2 games are so important that a consol fails without being able to play them, yet the ps2 games arn't worth spending a few bucks on. (Consider you can get 2 PS3 games ...

Sony indicates that ripping a CD is illegal (if I understood the article?), and then then turn around and release hardware and software in the form of a PS3 that is able to rip music. What a joke.
The music industry as we know it will fall due to the advances of technology. What will they do once computers are able to generate music that's just as good as the bland music every pop artist is poping out today?

I'm more excited for this than I am home. If I'm going to chat with PSN friends I'd rather do it building some random contraption in LBP, than do it standing around in Home. (Although Homes pool tables 'n' such should provide some entertainment.)
How did we take something like advertising which can fund quality FREE services and make it a negative thing?
I'll be paying for home one way or another.
1) Pay Sony $$ for them to spend on their servers. Ultimately I get Home service, and that's it.
2) Look at ads, see something I like, buy it, and ultimately I get a product that I directly bought, AND FREE Home service.

I noticed in the interview he's always quit careful to say things like "exclusive for PS3 this year," etc. It can be taken both ways, but it makes me wonder if it's true that it may come to 360 late?
