Cow, you should buy PS3 games, even though you don't play them, just to support Sony.
You bought the PS3 and then don't play it, I presume you could also buy games and not play them as well?
Hopefully this will help Sony learn their lesson and next generation they will release the PS4 with significant hardware issues and drop all PS3 support. This is obviously what American gamers want.
I read that GoW on 360 only used a small portion of it's processing ability. I don't think either system will ever be held back by processor power.
I'll be passing as a PS3 owner.
Parents seem to have 2 choices.
1) Crticize their kids, give the child bitter memories (like mine), and ultimately have little influence over their kid. My parents mostly give me, "I wish you wouldn't play those games." kinda crap, doesn't make any difference to me, just give me a bad tase when I think of Video Game + Parents in the same thought. Sometimes I'll want to share something funny or cool that happens in a game, but if I even mention it's from a game, thin...
They're more likely to be mad at you.
LOL, I agree, I'm not playing 60$ to get hangman on my cell phone. :(
Infact, any non-hardcore game isn't worth anything IMO, as you can get free games on the internet that are usually better if not the same as these "casual games."
In the last 3 months, what games has EA offered to the PS3 crowd? I know I've not had my eye on any. I'd buy any good PS3 game that EA created, but I've not been aware of any.
You mean that $40 was for the PSN? Well, atleast it's not $50.
Ohh, and did I mention that the PS3 is giving away FREE games now. ($40 was for PSN not Warhawk, thus Warhawk was FREE. Whipee!!!)

"The truth is the PS3 has more peak performance..." and then explains it's more difficult to program for.
So compairing the 2 facts we have here.
1) PS3 has more "peak performance."
2) PS3 is garbage.
Where does that put the 360? Stupid fanboy.
Now shut up and enjoy your system. IW has given the best experiance possible on both plateforms. More playing, less hating.
Good pic. :)
Yeah, I'm just saying that the only way waiting WOULD have been justified would be if they had still been developing more advance hardware. Once it's done, get it out to the public.
Saying it should have waited because it cost to much to begin with is stupid. That's like saying they shouldn't release that new GPU because it's $800. A few will buy it at that price, but more will buy it when it's cheeper. Why just throw away those initial few? PC hardware is always WAY expen...
Had Sony waited 2 years and been smart they could potentially have released a system twice as powerful, suposedly. (Moores law, 2 years = double).
Whatever the case they could have built a machine that was clearly superior, so much so that there would be no room for arguing. (This is no fanboy comment, 2 years SHOULD produce better hardware if the producing company is smart about it.)
I would love to see another Homeworld RTS. Hopefully holding true to the originals standards.
In response to http://arstechnica.com/arti... this forum poster (who appears to have a deeper knowledge then most of us will ever have) responds:
"What he said that was completely wrong was the 'you'll never see a PS3 title with more than 256MB of textures at any given time, due to the split graphics and system memory banks' comment. Perhaps he was thinking of the PC world where the ba...
That article is over 50 printed pages of DEEP technical information about the PS3 (and some about the 360).
You should know those arguments don't have any place on this site. ;)
You can find 50 pages of unbias technical analysis supporting the PS3, or you can just type "RROD". Both arguement seem to have about the same effect.
LOL, seriously, great find. I'll have to visit that post later and read some more. :)
Wow, that's the most "technical" statement I've ever heard. Anyone care to explain it to me? I'm not too good with this "technical" stuff. [/sarcasm]
LOL, this is clearly a forum post (or the like) from a PS3 hater. How is this news?
As far as memory goes, a current high end PC has 4 gigs of ram, and about a gig on the GPU, for a total of 5 gigs. Yet the graphics look only a little better. Minus a gig of that for the OS, and you have abo...
Install Linux and play NES/Sega Genesis/SNES games on it.
