LOL, the next thing will be a free HD-DVD player with every HD-DVD movie. :D
For all the BD fans, [if] by the time HD-DVD would claim the win, we'd be able to go out, spend 25$, and get a good HD-DVD player and 5 free movies with it. By the time Sony and Toshiba are done duking it out, the consumers can't possibly lose.
We will eventually have the COD4 PS3 vs 360 comparison. Wow, that will be HOT!
They make a profit on every Wii, if it was selling 10 a week they'd be happy, although not AS happy as they currently are.
I someone bought a PS3 today they would probably buy Resistance, even though it's been out almost a year.
I but those who made the switch from PS2 to 360 bought the original Halo game, even though that's years old.
Perhaps the attach rate is low because people refuse to buy crappy ports. Give me a good port, or give me nothing at all.
People like Computer Engineers buy PS3's and build all kinds of advance programs to run on them. Unless you suggest that these people like to pay more money for a less powerful system, then we have to concluded that the PS3 does have something special under its hood.
Whether this will give an advantage in the gaming department remains to be seen.
I don't play sports game, and if someone had me review one I'd probably be way off.
I might give it to high a score even, probably because throwing a football is a fresh break from shooting aliens. LOL, or some other irrelevant comparison.
only proves their accusations are acurate.
They more or less say one unnamed review said the variety was a bad thing and everyone imediately thinks of GameSpot. Had GameSpot said no such thing, it wouldnt' happen that way.
yes.
your welcome
(damage control for someone man enough to appologise)
Veriety is the spice of death....
It's because anyone who's able to program for the PS3 can simply take a laptop to bed with them and when the wake up in the morning they will have programmed a AAA XBox game....
LOL, don't take this to serious, I'm only poking fun at the fact that the PS3 is more complicated.
LOL, they did copy it didn't they. :(
Although it does say "From: gamingtarget.com" at the top.
Atleast N4G wont post the entire article, but actually makes you visit the original site for the whole story. It just gives you a intro so you can tell if you're really interested or not.
But yeah, this is a duplicate.
I trade a game in for 25, and they sell it for 55, what a load of crap. Furthermore, half the used games you buy have been scrated to hell. I can't imagine what conditions some of those disks have been in; maybe it was used as a coster, got some Pepsi spilled on it, got a little grape jelly mixed in there too, then they traded it in for 25, and I have to buy it for 55. (Well, actually I don't have to buy it....)
If I bring in a flawless disk, I should get atleast 40 as a tra...
I still havn't see anyone put in a BD backup and be able to play a game off of it. The disk may have the same data, but the drives are still often able to tell if it's legit or not.
...and they'll probably review the PS3 version first....
It's nice how you quoted the title of the N4G submission.
Had you actually read the article you might have noticed that the article indicates that Q1 has been profitable for MS, and nothing more. Although it is a valid extrapolation to say this will continue.
The article says Q1 (only 3 months) were profitable, and that MS hopes this will continue. The title of the actual article "Xbox Division Posts Q1 Profit" would have probably been the most approp...
To me this only says that XBox has made 165 million profit in Q1. In other words, they made a profit in specifically the last 3 months. This will no doubt continue, as they're out of the rough, and the year as a whole will surely be profitable.
The title had me believe that MS entire gaming venture had turned profitable, but in reality it appears to indicate nothing more than the last 3 months have been profitable.
That's that halloween skin thingy? Is that for motorstorm?
I can finally complete my NGS collection. Pony up 1.99 and that game is done.
When I bought R&C there were 5 people waiting for the same game. I've never seen such a thing. Especially in our little gamestop that is nothing more than a small room in the local mall. (This wasn't a before opening line up, this was during the middle of the day.)
Resistance adding screen shots make me happy, but Halo 3's video feature is AMAZING! It's all a matter of gettin the devs to do it.
Also, perhaps this is one reason the game runs at at 640p, that recording does add a good deal of background processing I'd imagine, but I'm no dev, so what do I know? Also, I'm not dissing the game, it's great IMO. I've had great fun with my friends while playing it.
