I was actually under that impression as well. But the review did say only 6 courses. We can hope can't we?
It almost seems Fore would be the better purchase for anyone not interested in online, since that seems to be the only improvement offered in OOB.
Perhaps the extra maps were hidden, and thus not noticed by IGN. But I doubt they would miss something like that. BAH! I sure hope there are more than 6 courses.

This is the only downside to this game. IGN called it arcady. I dunno, I guess it is a little bit, but the only other golf game I've seen is tiger woods where you can change the balls spin magically in the air; now that's arcady.
I dunno about other reviewers, but I was hoping IGN would give it a 9 or better. Preaty close I guess.

It goes to show the true power behind PCs. PCs were running games at 720P equivalent resolutions in the 90's. You pay for that extra power though.

It's preaty awesome from the sounds of it. You draw those bridges, and then the animals come on, and you take turns removing peices. Whoever makes the animal fall losses. I think it might be multiplayer online? It's the game shown in the article picture btw.

They could at least take the cheap road out. Just put a rumble command in the subroutine that displays the shaky screen and the red blood lines around the screen.
Idealy, it could be implemented with only a dozen lines of code. It may not be the "Hey, I can feel that rock I just stepped on in my paddle" rumble, but it would be better than nothing.
Yeah. It's been a while since we've had some fresh games. Next game I'm picking up with Hot Shots Golf 5 (or whatever they're calling it these days). Those games a good fun, and it sounds like the multiplayer in this one will be high quality.

I've thought this about my PS3 for a long time now. I've enjoyed the games it's offered, and when the sales were bad, I relized that sales didn't matter one bit so long as I was enjoying my purchase.
The same is true for the 360.
Both consoles offer their supporters quality games and entertainment. Both consoles are a little different, both have ups and downs, but both are entertaining.
