A real yaaawner this week.
I'll be playing some Castlevania: SOTN. For a PS1 game, it's awesometacular, and COD4 never gets old thankfully.
From the looks of the site, you're really getting hammered. I'll have to check it out later.
Just a question I had. Figured I could ask it here?
On topic: Looks like a great game, makes me want a PSP (to go with my PS3).
You know, just this morning I was wondering:
"I wonder what Resistance 2 would look like, if I had a 120-inch 4096p television and was sitting 14 inches from the screen?"
Now I know! :D
If we presure game reviewers into giveing games lower scores for intrusive ads (tasteful ads are fine), we can persuade devs to avoid them. They'd think twice about a startup ad if they knew there 8.5 game would receive a 6.0 because of the startup ad.
I would at least hope reviewers will mention in their reviews any intrusive ads.
We saw a few articles talking about HD-DVD and Blu-Ray co-existing; which is just plain silly. But we havn't seen one article that suggests DD and BD will co-exists, which is 100 times more likely.
What does the music industry think of DD? Why would the movie industry think any differently?
A bubble for you.
Those storm troopers are strong. They grab onto a 1500 pount peice of equipment and manage to lift it into the air with themself. :D
I dunno. Looking good, but I'm still wondering...
I hope it turns out well on all consoles.
I can't believe a game like Halo with a little blood splatter and no decapitation gets the same rating as something like Ninja Gaiden 2.
They need to split up the M rating, and give these devs a little more room. IMHO.
I thought it was:
Down, down, down, R2, hold circle.
Pain isn't that great IMO. It's fun for a bit, and it's fun to goof off in for 5 to 10 mins every now and then, but it's nothing special. The physics are fun to play with though.
They nickle and dime you, starting with new characters showing up but not being playable without paying extra for them, right from the beginning. Tisk tisk.
The different powers each Civ has sound really dynamic. It will be different from IV in that respect.
I'll just download my HD movies and then burn them to a DVD - oh wait, it wont fit on a DVD. Wonder what I'll be using instead?
On special occasions I'll dig into that DVD-R case, but it's CD-Rs most of the time.
If nothing else BD-Rs will be useful with their high storage capacity.
And maybe random level lay outs too.
Maybe outside the main game there could be a random map generator to keep you busy.
I noticed the same thing.
A standalone player that can be connected into an XBox 360. Huh?
So do you need the 360 to use this "standalone" player? Or do the people without 360's just plug it into the TV and it works just the same even without the 360?
Type maybe?
They may just show up and walk around a bit, and nobody will say anything, then they'll go home. Even suggesting that there will be talk is pure speculation... lol. :P
Have a bubble! I'm being sarcastic.
I hope it's a better simulator than Dirt was?
How does it compair in physics to games like GT5?
There were a few moments in there that really got me laughing - the pickpocket part especially, "you could throw a party and they wouldn't notice, they look over and see your hand down their pants and don't do anything about it". A good long review.
I thought so. It's the only game I'm interested in this month.
Looks like it's time to buy a PSP.
