It seems that when BluRay and HD-DVD were competing crazies were coming out all over the place screaming for a co-existence. Where did they go? If there can ever be a co-existence between formats it will be between digital downloads and optical disk. Just look at the music industry.

All I want is:
1) Multiplayer Gaming - When COD4 goes offline for the weekend PSN says "Meh, it's COD4 tech issue, not our problem." And they expect us to pay them? Sounds like I should pay COD4 staff if I'm paying anyone. (I know PSN hasn't asked us to pay yet.)
2) Voice Chat - Bob talks to Bill for one hour, what did the PSN do to facilitate this? The PSN said "Bob, meet Bill" and that was the end of the PSN's role. It's called peer-to-peer.

If installs on PC's have become common place, what makes you think the same thing wont happen with consoles? Consoles have been chasing PC's for years, and continuously become more and more like them. Expect to see more installs, and get used to it.

KingME: I have to agree, that's a dirty trick their pulling by covering up the load times. I would much rather have a traditional load time with a blank screen and an inacurate progress bar. /sarcasm
Call it a install, a load, or a cutscene that your can't skip. Any one of them is correct. I personally wont mind the un-skipable cutscene.
One day I think, hey, I should replay that classic game MSG4. I pop it in my dusty PS3 or PS4 or whatever will play the game, and just when I'm about to finish; "Ohh, damn, I forgot to download the ending."

I hope the disk contains the whole story, lest we find at some future date a certain download is no longer available.

Atleast Apple can't ban them from using apple software ever again, because that would limit them to to like 98% of the software out there.
This is my first time playing any game from the GTA series, and I'm having a hard time finishing the game. If anyone cares. Also, deeznuts is my hero.

A game system.
A Blu-Ray player.
And reliable hardware.
Any two of those made the purchase worth it for me, and all three are even better.

Those things would be great in a more expansive world. Who's going to jet ski in the polluted waters of LC? ATVs have no place in the city. Your 8800gtx can currently produce 8800gtx level graphics. They look great! 3 years from now, that card will not be able to produce level 10 graphics (or whatever they have at the time), but it will be able to produce 8800gtx level graphics still.
