Fine by me considering this and The Order were originally dropping just a few weeks apart and that wasn't going to be fun for my wallet lol. Now The Order is in February, Bloodborne in March, and The Witcher in May. Nice space between some of the biggest titles of the year.
The surprise? Halo Nightfall Wars Evolved 2
lol what are you talking about? This article is about Square clearly stating that this deal has a duration. You "don't think this Tomb Raider game will come to PS4"? What fantasy world are you living in?
Why is this still a topic? Microsoft clearly stated that it is "exclusive to holiday 2015"...
Granted, how long "holiday 2015" will be is still a mystery. I interpret that as basically Black Friday to Christmas of next year, but why Microsoft would pay for a mere one month of exclusivity is beyond me.
"The new games are coming, guys. We promise! And by new games we mean Halo, Gears, Fable, and Forza, You know; the same stuff we pump out every year. Now here's our console for $300, please buy it."
You knew about Draw to Death, FFVII, Killing Floor 2, Yakuza 5, and all those games coming to Vita? Not to mention Street Fighter 5 was likely supposed to be a surprise, but got leaked. Man, you should share you expert insider knowledge with us more often.
Perhaps, but I wonder what MS would have shown? I feel as if Sony held PSX because they had new games to show. MS showed virtually nothing we didn't already know about at Gamescom, so what would they have shown if they had held their own event? I'm guessing not much. Phil Spencer is doing the best with what he has, but MS simply does not have as many partnerships or own as many studios as Sony does.
Yes, yes you are the only one who thinks a Microsoft all-stars game would be awesome.
Wow you put a lot of time into that list and I definitely didn't read it all. Oh well.
They were selling Xbones for nearly $200 cheaper than what they were a year ago at launch lol of course they sold a lot.
Such a dead horse. Please tell me what Xbox has that's better. The Wii U probably has the best exclusives at the moment if you were really to attempt to declare a victor of that category.
Anyone who does any research whatsoever knows of Sony's monster 2015 lineup, and that doesn't even include what will be announced this weekend in Vegas, and those announcements will probably only be about half of what all their studios are working on. Santa Monica, Guerilla, Suc...
If they have so many exclusives, then why aren't they holding a weekend-long event to showcase all of said games like Sony is? Just some food for thought...
So pumped for this. Sony just keeps it coming. They announced all kinda of new titles at Gamescom and now this is coming up. The misinformed people that continue to claim Playstation has no games are about to be shut up (if only). You don't see Microsoft doing anything like this. Why? Because they have nothing new to show...
Keep 'em comin', Sony. 2015 is looking amazing and most of their biggest studios are working on new IPs that will likely drop in 2016. Gonna be a great few years.
The PS4 is a more powerful machine than the Xbox One; that's a fact. Numbers do not lie. However, it's up to Sony and their studios to take advantage of this horsepower...which they have and will continue to do so...
Xbox One catching fire? No, no; you're thinking of the red ring.
Sony is just getting started. Their 2015 lineup is already solid and we still have yet to even see the new IPs that studios like Santa Monica, Naughty Dog, Guerilla, Media Molecule, Sucker Punch, and Quantic Dream are working on. Sony is in no way just running a race and not prepared for the future; just wait until next year and 2016.
Another doom and gloom Sony article hot on the heels of good Sunset Overdrive reviews. This is my shocked face: -_-
Timed third-party exclusives, Halo, and Gears. Y'know; the usual.
MS will never let Halo die lol it's one of their only big first party franchises. They've been pumping it out for almost 15 years; what's 30 more?
Kill me.
