Lol the only one who should be nervous is Microsoft. Stating your opinion is one thing; doing it in the manner you did is nothing short of ignorant. By saying Uncharted is the only game that interests you in this context, you're implying the PS4's lineup is, as a result, "not exciting". Looks like a stealth troll if I've ever seen one. Uncharted is the only Sony franchise many Xbox fans seem to give credit. Believe it or not, the world doesn't revolve around you. Go ...
I guess you never know, but...talk about a pipe dream. Kojima choosing the "AMERICAN VIDJA GAME CONSOLE WITH CHAINSAW GUNS HYEP HYEP HYEP" over the company where his legendary franchise found its home, not to mention Sony is based in his homeland...yeah...good luck Xbox fans lol. This reminds me of when Microsoft kept claiming MGS4 was coming to the 360...
Realistically, he'll probably go third party and spread his games across as many platforms as possible...wh...
So it's not exciting to YOU? Good for you. That's your opinion. And no one really cares.
AMEN! I say this all the time. With the exception of a potential surprise/new IP or two, I can pretty much tell you how Microsoft's E3 press conference will go.
When it comes to Sony's, though; I have no idea! And I think that's awesome. They have so many new IPs that are due to get release dates, and so many more that we don't even know about. Only about about a month to go! So pumped.
The real Rare is making Yooka-Laylee which will probably be way better than this. But, hey, at least it's not a Kinect game.
The delusion is strong in this one.
Uhhhhh virtually all of Sony's big first-party studios are working on new IPs. Guarantee you're going to see a lot of them at E3 in two months. Every company has their Halos and Uncharteds, but Microsoft has been pumping out Halo, Fable, and Forza since 2001 with new faces few and far between. Gears and Alan Wake were two of the only big new franchises that MS started last gen. Now they're going back to the well with the usual suspects, and then reboots like Crackdown and Phantom ...
Yes.
I'm with CobraKing. We already know Halo, Gears, Fable, and Forza are coming because those are the "four legs of Microsoft's table" as Ryan McCaffrey cleverly put on a recent Podcast Unlocked. He also went on to say that he thinks those are becoming tired franchises and I agree with that, too. Simply put: Microsoft needs new IPs. They have not made many over the years. Games like Sunset Overdrive and Scalebound are a start, but they can't continually rely on locking up t...
@orbertron you're putting the "every 3rd person shooter is a Gears ripoff" mentality to use and telling ME to GTFO? Lol fail.
My comment was in jest and sarcasm. Some people may think MS' counterparts are better than Sony's. That's fine. I find it hard to believe that Project Spark, Lords of the Fallen, and Tomb Raider can hang with the likes of LittleBigPlanet, Bloodborne, and Uncharted, but to each their own. I mean, I like Killzone more than Halo,...
Microsoft, the king of "me too"!
"Sony has Uncharted? Well we have Tomb Raider!...for like a month or something..."
"Sony has LittleBigPlanet?" Well we have Project Spark! It's totally as good, right? Right...?"
"Sony has Bloodborne? Well we have Deck13 now! Ha!"
Lol no. I won't.
You're putting off the most anticipated game of the year so you can play a few new missions and a new raid and continue to get screwed over by Xur? Lol to each their own, I suppose. Granted, The Witcher will likely end up being a victim of its own hype like so many before it, but at least you know you'll get potentially hundreds of hours out if it rather than hemorrhaged content that was supposed to be included in the game in the first place.
Here's my question: how in the world is anyone still playing this game? Crota for five months? Bungie is out of their minds. Sorry, but it's too little too late. I technically already payed for HoW and I'm still not even gonna play it because I just can't care anymore. And the fact that this expansion drops on the same day as The Witcher 3 is hilarious.
It could very well get game of the year, but one must keep in mind incoming titles like The Witcher 3, Metal Gear Solid 5, No Man's Sky, etc.
I think it worked out for the best. Twisted Metal on PS3 wasn't all that bad, but I like to see new IPs emerge rather than franchises become overdone and Drawn To Death looks amazing.
There is so much wrong with this article that I'm not even going to bother tearing it apart.
Sigh. I thought Bloodborne was "Sony's most important game"? Y'know what, though? Seeing these types of articles only means one thing: Sony is still making games. And they're not going to stop, so neither will these stupid articles. But as long as Sony's AAA studios are still putting out games, that's just fine by me. People will say what they want. I will be enjoying said games.
It is funny how the gaming media works. Anyone who pays attention at all knew The Order was going to get ripped to shreds and that Bloodborne would score well across the board. And that's exactly what happened. I've personally enjoyed them both, as I have taken them each for what they are. It seems like cinematic games, however, are given less of a chance. Stuff like Beyond: Two Souls last gen and Ryse and The Order this gen were preconceived to "suck". I'll admit those ...
What planet do you live on?
