It's not a remaster. They aren't releasing the game with higher quality assets or anything, it's just at higher resolution and a more stable framerate. An improvement, yes, a remaster, no.
Just because that's how most games do it doesn't make it a good thing. What point is there in playing co-op if there is 0 benefit to it? How much fun is it going to be knowing you've played for hours for no reward and, worse, you're probably going to have to repeat all the stuff you just did on your own playthrough?
You might be right...
Except the only reason they're doing it is to force people to grind or (preferably for them) to get tired of the grind and buy the in game money instead. It's an exploitative BS practice and it needs to die, and if that means not buying the game or exploiting the system to get around it then I'm all for it.
It's probably Activision you should be upset with. They have a history of this type of behavior. (ex, a new COD every year with multiple timed exclusive map pack DLCs.) Because why support and expand on the old product when they can sell you a new one for full price.
How all the vehicles handled in Motorstorm was especially brilliant given the huge variety of tracks and variety of terrain inside the tracks so everything had a place. (I was a big fan of the motorcycles, you could get through a whole lot of crazyness and come out unscathed and ahead of the pack with the combination of small size and ability to ride on walls and other weird inclines.

You're welcome.
I troll by being silly. This is not me trolling.
God of War is not and was never special except in the setting and over the top brutality.
The site you're looking for is Humble bundle. Relatively new games (couple months old) will regularly be on sale for like half price.
God of War never had magic. It was always DMC or Onimusha but for dudebros, edgelords, and people who can't handle a game being even mildly difficult. (or people really into greek mythology, and if that's the case then fair enough I guess.)
When I can beat the whole game oh higher difficulties with 1 combo on repeat (iirc it was square, triangle, triangle) while keeping everything stunned forever, the game has no magic.
Motion sickness is why things like motion blur, camera bob, screen shake, and field of view should *always* be options in first person games.
Worst I personally get is hot and a headache, and only in fairly extreme situations, but it does happen. Probably wouldn't last a minute in VR though.
Not really no. Even assuming i had a VR headset (I don't) why would it be a good thing that the only version with VR support is the weakest of the VR systems?
VR needs 60FPS or better or it'll make you sick, even more so with a flight game, and the PS4 Pro is only really capable of 1080p/60. Can't get away with fancy upscaling either because the screen is so close to your eyes that it will be *painfully* obvious. As a result, they have to seriously gimp the game...
Equal to halo 1 through reach? No. Equal to Halo 4 and 5? Yeah. (Though its It's obviously a completely different type of shooter.)
In fact I have. I last played Halo Reach and Halo 1 ~ 2 years ago.
Also, no? Dude in mechanical super armor that greatly increases their strength woudln't make weapons feel heavy, it would make weapons feel light. Spartans can flip over tanks, any gun a normal human could use effectively would feel like a squirt gun ...
You've never really played PC games online have you?
Cheating isn't common. It's more common than on consoles, yes, but it's still very uncommon, for the same reasons (generally not fun, gets you banned.)
Also, if it was a FPS then maybe you'd have a point. It's not, however, so you're not at a disadvantage against mouse and keyboard players. In fact you'd have an objective advantage. WASD limits you to 8 way movement, the ...
Why would I care? I'm dead. I'm literally incapable of caring, and in the event that I'm dying "who gets my digital video games" is just about the last thing on my list. It's way down there with "who gets my nail polish" and "who gets my socks."
Yeah, no.
Story wise, Reach is the best it got. The story (not to be confused with the lore) of the series was never brilliant, but at least Reach made a solid effort to address the problems caused by creating a narrative centered around Super Soldier Gary Stew. It's success was hit and miss, but at least it actually tried to tell a story more interesting than "unstoppable spartan genocides way to victory over increasingly powerful and numerous enemies." Halo...
This is an excellent game...
that you shouldn't pre-order. You have no idea the quality of the port, no idea if the controller interface actually works well, no idea if there are game breaking bugs, ect, ect. Wait for the console specific reviews.
@Rainslacker
You didn't read the article either. By diverse they mean the types of games, not the types of characters in the games. 5 years ago it was all modern military shooters all the time. (It was after Skyrim started the big open world craze, but before every developer and their dog had time to make 7 of the damn things.) In fact it was towards the end of last gen, when all the major publishers were seeing sales fall because people were sick of games looking and r...
Read what I said, and try again. Whatever they may have done in the past, this article has nothing to do with what you claim it does. Full Stop.
Yeah, you didn't read the article.
Whatever other stuff the author or the website have said or done before, this article has *literally* nothing to do with any "SJW" topic. It's about the kinds of games being made and getting attention, things that simply would not have happened 5 years ago while we were still stuck in the modern military shooter dudebro smog.
It's not even a very good article but you wouldn't know why because yo...
Ugh.
I think the only real open world racing games I've ever really liked are Midnight Club 3 and LA. Most of the time, it's either not really open world (which I prefer because it avoids the problems I'll mention in a big) and it's just a big menu screen/ a place to run from cops in between races on actual, properly designed race tracks (ex, Need for Speed Undergound 2) or the actual racing is terrible because of a combination of uninteresting "tracks&...
