Splinter Cell was probably my favourite Xbox series. Pandora Tomorrow blew my tiny mind.
Admittedly I only ever played Halo 2 with friends and wouldn't necessarily elect to play it alone.
Most of the comments on this one are constructive or contribute something but there is always one or two 😂
Superb port. One of the games I played most on Xbox, despite finishing it previously on PS2 :-D
That Doom 3 port was absolutely gorgeous and remains one of the most accomplished console versions of a demanding PC game ever made.
Oh, it was an emulation beast.
A jailbroken Xbox was also a capable standard def TV and movie hub 😍
Probably. It is a lot of people's favourite console from MS.
It's probably too long TBH 😂
The competition for the top ten places was fierce, I bet lol
@yay111 haha, I had forgotten about them. Yeah, I enjoyed it but didn't get into the co-op thread enough to play it regularly
I felt Sleeping Dogs was too good for the list. While it wasn't amazing, it was definitely a decent stab at it considering it was passed around teams before release
The density of environment and detail in tandem with the huge crowds (when they eventually worked) was very ambitious and I think you are right in saying they haven't been as ambitious since.
Once it was largely bug-free the environment was really easy to appreciate. And the old-AC-style parkour was at its peak here and in Syndicate.
Farpoint VR may be surpassed by other VR first-person shooters in the future but it is an important part of the genre's development in VR.
One of my friends had it back in the day and I had wondered alout why it had a detachable cord that you could lose.
My friend then said it was so they could manufacture the one unit and then fire its appropriate cord in the appropriate box.
But then we realised each version has a different socket on the unit itself - so there was zero point in it except for collectors to lose the cable.
You know the designers are on r/, gamecollecting,...
I used to enjoy the invasions quite a bit...
But got a bit bored of invading and, eventually, of fending them off.
Even though it's not the absolute best one (according to lore at least)... Dark Souls III was superb. Definitely agree on Witcher 3 eventually but it was a buggy mess at launch. Not on the Cyberpunk scale, mind.
Of course!! How did I overlook that :0
I am certain I have the PS2 AV cable somewhere, thanks man
It makes it less satisfying to win when you are 3 up after 10 in-game minutes and the opponent leaves so I don't mind staying for a paddling.
GTA V Online still had plenty of players as of last Spring.
It was like the Wild West but it was still fun ☺️
I should do Dreamcast next. It was amazing
