To be fair, the article does mention the lack of games in the very first paragraph.

It's 1.5-2 years but it's still a long time.

A miracle according to some. Fair play, Panic Button
100% agree. The visual downgrade is just that. Visual.
A port of a game from a powerful system to something older and far less powerful used to guarantee changes to content or a different engine.
True but you would still expect a noticeable visual upgrade since a superficial resemblance to the real sport is the second most important aspect of sports sims after making the gameplay fun.
It's also weird the grass colour is different, but only in the fictitious stadiums.
It says PS5 on the left, PS4 on the right throughout the article just under the first image.
But I think it could be clearer.
The difference is minimal though, that much is true.
I did not know that, thank you 🙏
It would be sweet.
It would tempt the segment most likely to already have compatible displays (PC gamers) to get a PS5.
But the reality is that matching the capabilities of popular TVs is more important. 4K HDR at 60 Hz is their priority and IMHO, rightly so.
The UI isn't perfect by any means. There are a few popular features that are more clicks away than on PS4.
And I didn't realise they had removed folders... I didn't use them but it was still a cool feature that loads of people did use
I found it by accident as well 🤣
Hit a direction key on the TV remote while pulling out from between couch cushions and the cursor moved around the PS5 menu.
I use it quite a bit. But I acknowledge that some people will never, ever use it.
The bigger icons are definitely welcome. And the appearance of the banner on PS5 trophy screenshots. Even PS4 games have a different overlay on PS5 trophy images.
A dedicated trophy option in the customisable Control Center would also be superb.
And I do love how the trophy video gives you a few seconds of footage after it pops.
A weird place to take the franchise and not my cup of tea at all.
Short Bot Sweet
Oh, yeah. The PS3 was the cheapest blu-ray player you could buy by far for a few years. It made a lot of people buy a PS3 but it wasn't as compelling as the DVD player built into PS2.
Hoisted by their own petard 🤔
"No. *finger* prints."
Putting a controversial political symbol in a game is news, yes.
But you are still right, none of the features mean all that much without without worthwhile fresh and exclusive content.
