Ok, here's the problem with your argument.
Titanfall is releasing on pc. So, if you limp any "titanfall hate" as "Sony fanboyism" then "Sony fanboyism" can use any pc+ps4+ps3 (or any combo) game as an exclusive.
Suddenly, warframe, war thunder, blacklight, dcuo, don't starve, flower, flow, sound shapes, tiny brains, planet side 2, outlast, and MANY, MANY MORE (soon to be released, or already released) become viable argume...
Titanfall just seems to be bridging moba and fps genres...
I don't think it's a unique fps... I think it's a unique moba.
I'm also worried about the longevity amongst the masses. Mobas are more about strategy, whereas fps focuses on skill; yes, this could bridge the two, but (personally) I hate shooting at bots ESPECIALLY when other players might shoot at me...

Not sure which point you were making, if you thought ps3 had the exclusives and now xbox does, or if ps3 had the power advantage and now doesn't. It's a typo that makes it very ambiguous.

Seriously, I get what you (and many others) are saying, that graphics aren't the end all. However, it can help a game be more enjoyable, or have more functionality.

Ate you familiar with optimum viewing distance? Bigger tvs will show the disparity between 900p and 1080p more than smaller ones. So, whereas, in the grand scheme of resolution, 900vs1080 isn't that big, it can be very noticeable.
