I hope halo remakes make you just as critical. Yes, the ps4 version is a big upgrade in vibrancy, framerate, draw distance (for many reasons), and motion controls. There are a few smaller reasons too, but at the miniscule price of $3 (on sale) to $7 what's stopping you from trying it on all systems (cross buy).
The fact that many nay-Sayers are having trouble wrapping their minds around is that many, many people didn't get to experience games like this on ps3.
Working at gamestop the last few years I got to see this even amongst my co workers, yet alone the many guests that came into the store. I finally played fat princess with a gs friend last night (ironically) for the first time as that game still has a huge following and was the start the "psn indie craze."

Gyroscope is a known technology now, I'd say use it more now that the vita, ds4 and 3ds have sensitive gyroscope sensors in them.
Still proven better than Kinect, and I hate myself for saying this.
I remember watching a gameplay trailer on YouTube and thinking it looked slow. Also, a lot of the player characters were making directional mistakes so the controls looked worrisome.
On top of that, I saw nothing that set it apart from bomberman, especially since the people playing weren't going for power-ups.
I'm sad to see a game tank like this if it's true.

Gamestop is hurting? It's one of the few fortune 200 companies with 0, none, zilch, nada debt.
The gaming industry is 13b in north America, and gamestop tracks and gathers quite a lot of information on it.
I worked there for three years, I hate shopping there for reasons like the ps camera and xenoblades, but they aren't hurting.
