Makes sense, but that's a developer optimisation argument.

@ IIZANGETSUII AND Prophet-Gamer

It's like listening to the two of you argue about if the glass is half full or half empty, lol.

I guess I'm a half empty guy on this topic.

Good point!

And good laugh!

I agree fully with you. However, I'm adding this disclaimer that I might, MIGHT sound like I'm not, since you don't know me beyond the text and screen and i investment how what saying might contradictory.

It's funny how the money hungry businesses overshadow the good. Where does the point of providing a service or product get taken over by the acquiescence of accumulating money and wealth?

Yes, I think there are great corporations out there, b...

Thank you, it's impossible to always have exponential growth unless you start "stealing" or, more specifically, dwindling other people's/companies income/profits.

There is only a finite amount of wealth..one person/corporation can only own up to 100%, there no more than that. Recessions/growth is only a transference of that sum of the whole of wealth.

Well said to you.

I agree wholeheartedly with ferthepoet. It was more of an attack on loaning your games, or getting your money back.

The fact is that gs would still be around, but would have paid ms for the rights to resale. Then, after the contract with Microsoft to resale (and users unable to eBay, loan, or sell directly to friend) they would decrease the amount they offered to the people who sold their games to gamestop in order to keep profits up.

Or, gamestop would decre...

I agree with everything he says except the last paragraph.

I feel this topic has been Microsoft's (and a great many company's) dream for a long time. I do feel that the anti consumer policies are a lingering feeling at the top end of Microsoft.

That's why, unlike the author, I cannot justify titanfall as a reason to own their system.

Do us a favor, don't so easily forget that they tried to bone us... make them (and not Respawn...

I agree, It will make them money, why wouldn't they? I'm confused why people don't understand this... gta 4 ported to pc after 8 months means gta5 could (my speculation at least) show up in June-ish.

And why leave the new consoles out?

4352d ago 4 agree1 disagreeView comment

Really, hard drive space?

Look, I understand that argument as maybe the devs thought they would be deleted before other games, but gta5 did it... most 360 owners are buying hds...

But as much as I love blazblue, I feel this author is trying to get hits via the "ms hates on small games" movement.

Would like to see the full interview.

I don't know, remastering games allows a new generation of "kids" (aka) gamers a reason to experience games... I honestly don't mind ports simply because the younger crowd has a better chance of trying it out.

Seriously, how many 15 to 20 year olds (yes, even with mature rating) will understand games like golden eye and truly appreciate halo 1? So many great games that built gaming as we see it, the younger crowd deserves that chance.

Gamin...

I don't know, I laughed when I read "gearbox might actually get it right this time."

We've all been waiting for the right alien game... maybe they should hire the team behind natural selection.

See, I expect that from ds as it's more blogging of hot topics. Aka click bait. It is not trying to say they are journalists. They are not claiming to be something they are not, they are claiming to be what they and delivering it (whether you or I agree with them doing it is different).

Polygon, however, has had a reputation of unbiased journalism... and recently that reputation has been under scrutiny because of behind the scenes deals that can influence the unbiased int...

Well said, gods. We turn(ed) to polygon to hear the facts presented unbiased, we turn to bloggers for opinions and perspective. When polygon stops(ed) presenting topics in an integral fashion then how can we continue to trust in their words.

Mighty, that's the problem, the "yay-drm" is an opinion. Reporting isn't yay anything. It should be, here's everything this drm thing involves whether I agree or not. Journalism isn't about opinions, it's abo...

Nukeitall, I still think the majority of n4g people are neutral, just sometimes articles bring a polarity view.

The difference between polygon/kotaku/ign/df/ect is that n4g doesn't do any journalism, it's user submitted articles and blogs. It's not trying to be like polygon.

True journalism isn't about clicks, it's about integrity. Listening to someone's whole speech and fixating on one line in an hour speech is click bait. A site that...

In other words, I believe they over-promised it too soon.

Thank you, I'm glad someone else noticed the ratios too.

And I also think it has been a Shitstorm, especially if you expand the first post that was marked as trolling.

Yeah, I understand. I've noticed it's article dependant for many people... if the article throws company-Y under the bus and you even sound partially sympathetic, you become a company-Y fanboy.

4352d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

What I'm laughing at is that apparently this super pro-Sony site called n4g has had the pro-Sony supporters have about a 1:5 ratio of agrees to disagrees.

I still think n4g does a good job with balance, most of us are neutral, and sometimes both fanboy sets show up in droves.

Thank you, nerdman. Spin never happens anywhere.

Remember all the brands and stores distancing themselves from the Bangladesh clothing fires that killed over 100 people?

I still don't get the hubbub. The 1080p argument still makes me laugh from certain fanboys on each side.
