Ryse was OK to me. I don't actually own an X1, but there's one in my family room owned by my roomates. Ryse is a small, short game, that I really liked the plot on. Not that the plot or the characters are incredibly new, but it was done very well; thus, Ryse is ok, but worth owning if you have an X1.

Also, Crytek is good at making things visually appealing.

Now, slightly off topic, what's funny about this article's comment section is that th...

So people would rather contemplate the fall rather than the message of why he jumped?

Laugh and make jokes all you want, you are being scum if you don't try to understand.

Edit: maybe I'm too old for this comment section, but it's truly annoying.

Vega, I agree to an extent that most games should aim higher. A lot of single player experiences are better told with lower frame rate and better graphics, IMO.

The eye wants 24ish FPS to see motion. Light and darkness matter as well. If you study up on how the eye perceives motion, then you will understand that not every game needs to hit a certain threshold. Especially when it comes to the business aspect of time being money, and how much time should a developer spend o...

I didn't mean to type with so many "you" sentences, btw. Looking back on my post I regret that.

I just don't understand the entitlement for personal (arguably wrong in this case) choices. Said kickstarter "investor" (donator) wants his money back? The contract is: You give said campaign money. Soetimes the campaign gives you the final product, sometimes more, but have you ever seen, "Stake in company?" <--Meaning: You cannot give a ...

I agree, both are. They cater to different people, but both had/have pretty strong launch line ups.

You know, you people and your lack of reasoning.

If you do crowd funding, you are not purchasing stake in the company. You are sometimes getting a minor incentive like the project itself, but you are, in essence, donating money.

These ridiculous claims from average Joes who know nothing about investing are simply ignorant. I'm sorry, but you forgot to say, "I'll invest x-amount for Y in return."

Good faith, a gift, a donati...

That's what the bubbles are...

Seriously, there are a ton of fanboys on BOTH sides on here...

You can also put people on ignore and see how many people are ignoring someone.

The bubbles are a guide on how serious to take someone.

Chrome has (or had as 11:20am est) a cached version. It was just an opinion/trolling piece, an attempt at satire I think. Either way, it was a hateful read.

I do, cyc, especially after reflecting on my participation in them the last few months...

Edit: in all honesty, it has helped me grow... a lot. In the long run, I've grown tired of the ignorance and hate. I've grown to hate my own fandom, whether it is Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, or steam... yes, I hate Microsoft, but I can understand why someone else might love them like I do steam or ps...

You do know that's next year and then 8 or so months, right? That's 20 months for dx12.

I know what I'm about to say will cause a fight, but Sony's psnow and project morpheous are set to release before then of now...

...sigh, I'll be overlooked now, as an opinion.

On any comment site you better reword your comment to "infamous" instead instead of "titanfall" next week...

You'll be labeled a fanboy both times.

Or else your fanboy truth comes out if you don't /s

And I quote, "The Godus creator suggested that many small game teams could soon be transformed by the temptation of venture capital money, a move which he claimed could stifle creativity.

Net neutrality died on the 14th of January, and not enough gamers cared to do anything about it. Protests and boycotts did not happen, we just bent over and took it.

Netflix just paid Comcast to not be throttled, Comcast denied they were doing it on purpose, but Netflix noticed a speed and user decline under that isp.

It's seriously annoying watching these gamers giving more sh##s and f###s about their console war than things like net neutrality.

Sony's principal business operations include Sony Corporation (Sony Electronics in the U.S.), Sony Pictures Entertainment, Sony Computer Entertainment, Sony Music Entertainment, Sony Mobile Communications (formerly Sony Ericsson), and Sony Financial. -wiki

It's interesting when people don't assume that maybe they would use their PlayStation product for other things.
