Of course sony will deny price cuts till the very last minute, they want people to buy them at the price they are now - not wait for a price cut. Microsoft did it too, they denied their price cuts a few times till the last minute.
Sony have also done it before, denied it one day and a few days later announced a price cut.
They couldn't deny anyone usage of it, just sony is the one who helped develop it and now own the larger market share in blu-ray. That is all, sony and philips created the CD - did they deny anyone else access to that? No.
In that article did i see that "Sony owns insomniac" all they said was that they work exclusivly for sony, which so far is true.

There is no motion control on the sniper on kz2 beta, just if you move your controller the more your sniper will shake - meaning you have to keep your hand steady like a real sniper would :P

But i am probably more pro sony than you could imagine, i mean i buy all multiplatform games on my ps3 despite what problems it may have, despite what exclusive DLC the 360 version may get.
