Although juvenile, If you hit L1 the whole time a cutscene is going, you can often find yourself looking through the eyes of Snake (usually at the rack or posterior of a female counterpart) without being prompted as is the norm. To count the PS3 out at this point seems to be ludicrous. In fact, seeing how Sony is rocking the market and just released a GOY contender, dev's will be taking this a little more seriously. The install base just increased by around a half million or more in a couple of weeks and if you think devs aren't gonna play MGS4 and marvel at just what they themselves could accoplish, you are seriously mistaken.

Well, they do have a point, they didn't create MMO online play, but they certainly perfected the use. EQ was the first big one, and they did have a hiccup or two off the bat, but if anyone knows how to keep millions of people enjoying somethig as system intensive as an MMO, it's sony.

They should just up the game mechanics and we will be fine. It was repetative, but it wasn't a bad game. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to a second one. They left it wide open for a sequal anyway, exept now he's in modern times. Great start to an excellent series if you ask me.
They should start a new series. If they are not gonna do that, then go back to Big Boss days, or snakes initial training. That would be off the chain.

I thought we heard that other day that HS2 wasn't canned, it wasn't even in production yet... It's sony's ip and they can do what they want with it, but right now they are working on another title. I thought that is what we heard, maybe I'm wrong.
I don't get to see my dad but for holidays, but he always loved RPG's for the story element. And MGS has that in spades.
It's leading in it's home country. Everywhere else it's plummeting fast. On point, this is Japan after all, they are hoping to rectify this problem by exclusive RPG sales to 360. I just hope this descision doens't hurt the RPG developers.
Haha, the Ipod playing my own music in game may be a great way to get around the whole patent thing with customized soundtracks. Just sign a deal with Ipod to put an Ipod as part of the PS3's XMB. Not that you have to have it in an equipment slot, but that you're character always has an ipod handy, hell, like a cell phone. Offer podcasts, music downloads, and integration to your own itunes. With the in game XMB coming, you could just add the Ipod button to your media browser, and let Ipod hos...
I didn't get stuck on Vamp, but I paid close attention to the nano machine part, as it intrigued me, and got a lucky guess. I did die several times trying to do it properly, but it wasn't to the point of frustration. I understand his point. He should get back on the horse though, beat it, and move on to the shocking last parts of the game. :) That's hardcore. I plan on playing games when I'm 70, so rock on old man... rock on.

I'm really upset by the custom soundtracks not coming to me. I can't stand that I can't listen to my own music. That's why I play pain so much now I think. Jukebox rocks!!! 2.4 will bring us on par as far as online gaming, but it still won't bring us custom tracks so I can pwn noobs whilst listening to Tool.
Well, if PS3 was doing as bad as the 360 is, sure they would say something about it. And it's a little different when you're trailing 7000 units but you sold 200,000 units to begin with. But 2100 units... that's sad... really sad.
