I'm just tired of the Call of Duty series in general. I couldn't really play this one as much, because it's the same game with modern theme. There are subtle differences, but mostly multiplayer. I don't want another COD, I won't get on this bandwagon with everyone else, there will be plenty of other games for me to play: LBP, Fable 2, WKC, Res2, K2, FFXIII, FFXIII Versus, Infinite Undiscovery, Star Ocean... the list goes on like that folks.
Glad I own both next gen systems so ...
Polished is a good word I suppose. I'm on my second playthorough, I'm not blowing through it this time, I'm taking my time, not killing anybody (including the bosses) and overall being very snakelike. GOY contender for sure, we'll see how GeOW2 does.
Well, I suppose that they don't want to copy halo style miltiplayer integration, but some things should be copied. Although I agree that it has the best multiplayer functionality, I wish the game would just die already and let us move on to a better theme.
I gave him one earlier today too, some things are right on. But they are doing just fine, I'm disappointed with the lack of RPG's as well, but it's not that big a deal, we'll get a slew of them next year.
It's innovation, which Sony is known for. They get to focus on Games, and third parties focus on making it a more complete experience for gamers. Good Strategy.
Noone really stands to gain from it anyway IMO.
Hahaha, it would have saved you the time of having to copy all that down.
Great news, this year just keeps getting better and better for gamers. Hell, soon I'll be playing Fable 2 and FFXIII, just switching between the two when I get a bit stuck on FFXIII. I can't wait!!!
hahaha Don't even go there, this is lazy developement and you know it.
I'd like to say I'm looking forward to one more than the other, but honestly, which ever one comes out first is the one I'll get. Then I'll get the other. I just can't let good RPG's slip through my collection. I still pay suikoden and Chrono trigger from time to time hahah
I am again in agreement with you siligon, I'm not fond of hurting a good single player game in lou of a strong multiplayer setting. I can't agree or disagree with you button wise however, as I'm on a work comp and every button I hit just says "Java script error" hahaha
Most games put out now have a multiplayer aspect attached, and that's fine as long as my game doesn't suffer for it.
You guys are hillarious, but you are entitled to your own opinions. Some people like tactical espianoge action, and some like Maluibu Barbies dream boats(tm), it's cool.
10,000 - 12,000 weekly units sold to 77,000?? Wow, that's astounding. I'm glad to see that Hideo's game is having this kind of impact. Maybe we'll see some official worldwide numbers soon.
I agree with you siligon, I'll even go a step further and say that I'm tired of everything REQUIRING multiplayer as well. If we don't watch it, they will slowly phase out our hardcore market to where we get about 2 games a year that are actually worth a damn, and we'll see about 4 single player titles, the rest online only. I know it's far fetched, but I don't like where this going.
That's amazing. Or course we all knew Japan would eat this game up, but Vg chartz (which taken with a grain of salt as always) stated America's numbers were around the same for the 2 day mark, this is 3rd day sales. The response to this game has been overwhelming folks, it deserves it. Congratz Kojima
Well, what are we Americans without our sense of humor right? Not much on MS, but this is something that I would do for sure.
Long Live Smarta$$es!!!! :)
Wow, great numbers, add up this and europe and Japan, and you got over a mil day one easy.
Not really a huge loss as I'd just buy it on my PC anyway. Done and done
Well, congratz guys, we said everything he just said in our posts when this story broke earlier today, good job.
You start out so nice siligon, I agree yet again with you, but "Stupid Jerk Spurt"??? I mean I laughed, but it's so harsh there is no way I can bubble you up enough to keep you above one :)
