I'm not a wii fan, I find them very short lived entertainment, and GTAIV belongs no where near it. It sticking to what it's good at and it should stay that way.... He was right about needing better games though. I didn't agree with this opinion based article as a whole though.
This article was a review, it barely mentioned the difference between the two systems... I wish everybody would give it a rest... Anyway, talking about the bulk of the article, I can't even get my copy yet, but I'm glad to hear the vehicles all feel better in this one and the taking cover in a gears of war fashion is also a welcomed chage. BRAVO ROCKSTAR!!!
How is he going to compare GTAIV to Mickey Mouse??? I see his point as a whole, it's well written to boot, but why not compare GTAIV to a cartoon with a little more violence. Hell, I think even He Man had more violence than poor mickey. Another thing is with the comment that video games have no social effects on kids... it's a proven fact that Nudity can effect children and give them odd ideas about sex and how they percieve social situations. So violence is somehow different??? It does desy...
The whole game was a bit barebones, although I still can't complain as I STILL play it from time to time. Very enjoyable. I am looking forward to more innovative tracks and and more of them for sure. I will be buying this one, definately not a renter.
Honestly, compared to that idiot in the earlier post (forgive me for not having time to look at past posts, as I'm at work) this is a fair warning... it doens't mention God or killing police officers for points or nazi's or Barbara Streisand or anything like that... I agree.... that's how a game objection should be written, not an attack, a warning to parents to watch what their kids play and make sure it's age appropriate.. very nice!!
I'm like Stephen Colbert... I don't see race!!!!
Yep, just 5 hours to go before I'm no longer "Accountant" I'm "Glassmaster" Master of you A**es!!!! hehe, see you all on the servers!!!!
I'm glad he's proud if it, he deserves to be. It is a little odd that last week he was disappointed. I'm a music artist, and some weeks I love my songs.. and some weeks I feel like they are crap and I'd like to start all over. Makes sense if you think about it. And about the needing more space.. I have near a Terrabyte waiting for him. I dare him to try to fill it with new levels and content. That's the beauty of this day and age, you can just give me more through DLC :)
I have both, but I'll admit, since I got PS3, my 360's been collecting dust. I'll stick to my Stardust, Warhawk, Motostorm, Ratchet and Klank, Uncharted, and (Hopefully sometime this year) my system seller, FF13... Article is a bit rubbish, and if you've read the face-offs... you'll get sick in your pants people!!!
Yeah, I agree, just about every game he rates (And I've read every face-off out of sheer boredom) is a 360 to PS3 port.. not a fair judgement. MGS4!!!!!!! PORT THAT B**CHES!!!
I own my PS3 for the RPG's to come... that's the reason I bought it, same as the PS2, same as the PS, same reason I pull out my Super Nintedo and Nintendo now and then. Saying that the cell is less powerful would be a mistake IMO. Just think of the applications, like folding at home... the ability to break it apart and make a laptop or other things that smarter people than myself haven't thought of yet... Most dev's really haven't figured out how to use PS3 to it's full copacity. They are try...
I'm at work in the states... I have to wait 7 hours till I'm in....
:) Watch out for Spiderelite though... and I'll be giving you guys full friend info on my PSN network when I get home :)
I've gotten used to reloading like that due to having the option in Army of Two. It actually is starting to make shooters better in my opinion, when you need the reload, just flick the controller back at you, makes you feel a little more like your there, kinda like rumble, subtle, but helps the experience overall. Not as crucial as rumble of course :)
Yeah, that is rediculous, you don't get points for that, you get into trouble and are hunted down?? What's wrong with that lesson, you do something wrong, and you get busted or killed for it??? I'm just playing devils advocate there though mind you :)
They checked my ID at Gamestop for my preorder. It would be a shame if some unsuspecting clerk got caught by a media trap by a minor buying this game. They are making no attempt at hiding the copies or the ads however. I'm of age, so I really don't care. Just wondered if any retail stores in any of your areas are taking measures, out of curiosity.
THANK YOU!!! that's what I said in one of my earlier comments about a different piece of opinion on a news based site, at least someone is seeing this other than myself, bubble for just paying attention everyday!!!!
Awwwww come on, Haze looks interesting, right??? I would have to agree to one point that it's at least trying something a little different than most FPS out there, and I'm sick of the standard FPS (And I own most of them for both consoles). At least the Nectar idea intrigues me a bit, going on a rampage seeing your friends as enemys(albeit it was done in Kane and Lynch involuntarily). It may be a flop, but I'm buying it, at least at this point.
It's funny though right??? I'm a new member and that's why I joined this site, I get educated, and occasionally get to see someone get ripped that truly deserves it. FANTASTIC!!!! hahahaha
I'll buy little big planet, because I get BORED of most games within days of owning them (There are of course exeptions like Ratchet and Clank and any mega ten game) But that's what excites me about the title, it's versatility and replayability, and I'd like to think I'm not alone... Although I'm sure I'll get lot's of disagrees, which would counteract my whole point :) I like you guys anyway
God this argument is getting old... I'm just responding because I'm at work and am bored, and all this site seems to care about is an argument that we have been having for months... they are both fantastic... that's the bottom line.. that's it... it's been said... it's been tested.. and all of us will be able to tell tommorrow
