Holds true until you see GT5 Prologue @1080P and 60fps. Its all about 'getting to know you'. The framerate issues have 'apparently' been ironed since this demo's build.
Have to wait and see I suppose.
Only the ladies offer a better one.
I just hate the exaggerations of the differences.
Not being a fan of this sport or having any knowledge on its players, i think both look pretty realistic.
...and the fact its all headed for the PS3 at 60fps, 1080p (at least thats how it is at the moment) stuns even more.
Couple this with intensive physics and it seems strange other games get around 30fps (although its not hard to figure out your own answers after this sort of benchmark has been set)
Hopefully all this media means there is the prologue realease fairly soon(ish).
You could replace your x's and y's with any said genres or games and change the name of the console and still keep the statement.
Your argument only holds true for the 'gamers' (like yourself) that have really already purchased by now in part and have your opinion.
For me, Final Fantasy and Little Big planet would have the same effect with a different conclusion and I am not the only one (and I, like most of the world, don't live in America and don't live for FPS...
Was going to see Transformers this weekend then found out it ran at 24FPS on the Cinema version. Oh well, guess not.
Gotta love the way the caddy runs like hell after the ball...
When they said the 360 was holding back the PS3 version, I didn't think they meant that :)
But how many of the 360 games can you share your 'non-gaming' friends without them thinking you are sad?
Very good looking game. (who says computers should emulate reality in graphics to be called good?)
Get creative instead of just bloody talking to people or shooting things.
can't wait. Gamespot seem to have an intelect as well as a good eye.
Guess here come the Gears comparison pics again...!
Why would you do that? The 360 is pretty damn good mate.
and I would take a huge library of varied titles with good graphics and stories in x years over another 10,000 FPS with 'amazing' graphics anyday...
money
someone disagreed that the 360 is a mavel in its own right! oh well..
Regarding the ignorant statement, See disagree points....
I don't understand your 1st point...
This can be said of any genre and of any game (just about)
For example,
"Is Halo 3 not pretty much the same FPS type game with different environments, story and weapons than every other type of FPS?"
The innovation will or will not shine when the full product is in your hands though..
I agree with Bladestar although there is one thing that annoys me about multi-platform. Quality control and Best possible experience.
If I am offered a choice to watch a movie on VHS or at the Cinema, I would choose the Cinema as it is a better experience and the one it was ultimately designed for. Would I feel any less for the movie?
Maybe not but if I am going to invest 100+ hours in a game that offers a better experience on another platform and have to put u...
Some have ranked it among their personal best from E3 this year. Don't ask me why they did this because I have not played it.
Yep Blackmoses,
I find it a shame that it gets slammed for coming in last every week with countless 'show off' comments relating to this, then it has a good run........ and the same people jump on it all over again.
How selfish, undiplomatic and lame for everyone involved in this...
If anything the PS3 'Fanboy' community cannot be labeled as 'not taking it'. In fact, they really have taken crap for so long that its no wonder they are genuinely hap...
Call of duty 4 looks could have the same complaint. Its called atmosphere.
The only thing I am defending is simply stylistic art and the conveyance of realistic and complicated lighting techniques in computer programming.
