If you live in NYC you could have just gone to the Nintendo World store... -_-;;
Pathetic, eh? I suppose that makes it pathetic to go to a store to buy video games too?
I really liked this approach. I'd rather play the games as oppose to watching presentations of them.
YES. Agreed wholeheartedly. I really want all of the major players to do well, even Microsoft now that they've removed just about all of the issues I had with their latest console. The more success, the better for this industry.
Honestly, my thoughts are that I have no idea. I have hope for the Wii U, but right now as far as it regaining some element of consumer relevance, I'm not entirely sure. Being the cheapest console will help win some families over, I'm sure. But as far as the masses? It's really difficult to see which way it will go. It can honestly be just as bad as it can be good.
Smash Bros., I think, can earn it a couple million units sold. People went nuts over Brawl. The indi...
I definitely see what you're saying. What I believe Heavenly King is getting at is if a game really does take the time to add a narrative with acting, then it should be a quality addition, not something bad or messy that takes you out of the immersion.
If the voice acting in Last of Us had been on the same level as say, Resident Evil on Playstation 1, then I guarantee the story would not have been a highlight for the game.
Besides, video games can have a ...
I'm sure anyone would hope so. I feel as though anyone who with an intellectual mind would not want ANY console to fail. Whether or not the sales growth will be big enough to make up for the early losses, I already know the Wii U will see some sort of sales increase, big or small. There's too much first party content coming out for that not to happen.
Presently I am more interested in seeing the Vita increase its sales. While I've been skeptical, some have said th...
Considering consoles are PC derivative, they will ALL be hampered by the fact that no console can ever be as powerful as the latest PC parts. They're not upgradeable and therefor are gimped in comparison.
Seems pretty pointless considering Metal Gear Solid is a part of the Legacy Collection which comes out pretty soon.
Thanks for telling me after the fact. :D Totally didn't get that on my own.
Certainly possible. It's also possible she was just venting. I mean the character does look like her and has a name that sounds similar to hers. Since she herself is in a video game, I can imagine her either laughing OR being frustrated.
@Utalking2me
I think I'm well within my right not to laugh considering I've read that joke about a hundred times in the past six months. Sorry that my lack of enthusiasm and my bubble count offend you so.
Completely agree man. This game would benefit SO much with online. It's so ridiculous that they're omitting it.
While I agree that local multiplayer is much better, some people just don't have that choice. Having the option does NOT hurt the experience and Nintendo has very little excuse to leave it out at this point.
I really love it when smug fanboys get away with comments like this. Thing is if anyone said "Wow, wouldn't it be cool to have a Wii U copy of Little Big Planet?", they would lose all of their bubbles within the month.
No kidding. I was being sarcastic and no one caught it. That "slightly better graphics" bit was supposed to be in line with the first part of the comment.
As in I don't expect slightly better graphics at all. If anything I'm cynical of anything about the Wii U version being "ultimate" given that the game is coming to every platform.
Riiiiiight. 70+ games is definitely "complete failure." Gotcha.
Makes you wish Nintendo would release these worldwide at the same time. :/
I think it's more about making Smash Bros. on-the-go as well as on a console. And because the 3DS specs can handle a game like it, unlike previous Nintendo hardware.
Hey, I don't care what anyone says; Wii Fit Trainer is a hilariously awesome inclusion. As for the Villager, you know what he can do? DROP A TREE ON YOU.
All jokes aside, Smash Bros. has a lot of fan input these days. I doubt we'll see the likes of Shulk from Xenoblade or Dillon from Dillon's Rolling Western (two brand new IPs mind you) in the game, and that's mostly due to the time constraints they apparently have. Sakurai has already said there's not eno...
I'd throw funds at all of that.
