Don't apologize! I asked for peoples' honest opinions. :p Good reply. :)
Which does not really spell out certain death either.
Right now I think one of the Vita's biggest strengths is its indie support, because heaven knows Sony seems far more enthused by the PS4 (and rightfully so) at present.
The platform deserves more AAA support though. More Tearaways and Gravity Rushes as oppose to more Call of Duty spinoffs and cross-play games.
While I don't like this article's jabs at Sony (seriously, there are worse worse offenders to "milking" than God of War), it makes a good point about Nintendo's newer IPs and how people ignore them.
"But but but I want IPs that appeal to me!"
Fair enough, but at least have the decency to acknowledge the fact that Nintendo DOES bust out new IPs here and there, but they don't appeal to you. At least then you'd be honest. ...
I disagree completely. Wii Sports was extremely simple and by today's standards has not aged well. Nintendo Land on the other hand is a lot more fun, a lot more expansive and a lot more replayable.
Wii Sports has four sports in it with all of a few different modes in it. Nintendo Land has twelve attractions, almost all of which have a multitude of levels. It also supports five players as oppose to four and has the social integration with Miiverse.
Isn't that a little overly cynical, at least in regards to Wind Waker HD? I thought it was basically confirmed that WWHD was a hold-over game that was using the newer 3D Zelda's assets.
As for 3D World, I honestly hope it's a hold-over game as well. I want the next really big, innovative 3D Mario game. Not another offline multiplayer game that borrows a concept from an older (albeit awesome) portable game.
I was particularly enthused by Titanfall. I've always been a fan of mechs, but never have I seen anything conceptually capture what I really wanted from them in a video game until I saw that trailer. Looked freaking phenomenal.
Second would probably have to be Destiny. Borderlands with better graphics, a solid, serious storyline, more player involvement and those friggin' badass open public segments? That is most certainly a day one buy for my PS4.

The point is I personally feel a lot more comfortable with the GCN controller. So it's good to have the option.
Considering how terribly the Xbox One has fared among gamers on the internet, it's a good opportunity for Wii U to jump in and steal some thunder.
I think the Wii U's future is pretty uncertain, so I don't think it should be written off this early into the generation just yet, particularly when it comes to third party support. If the install base grows, so will support for it.
PS4 is pretty much a guaranteed success at this point, so we'll see...
On Amazon there's an adapter that lets the Gamecube replace the classic controller on Wii and Wii U.
Yeesh. Vita plummeted from the previous week. Ugh, Sony, the hell are you doing with this thing? And Wii U did a little better, but damn if it shouldn't be doing a LOT better.
Nothing more frustrating than looking at numbers this disappointing for not one, but two new platforms I am enthusiastic for.
If DLC ever comes, it will probably be a couple of, if not a few months post release like NSMB2 and U.
"But but but but! 3DS is not Wii U and Wii U cannot POSSIBLY start to sell more!"
It's a damn good thing Nintendo is still making hardware, otherwise Sony would be monopolizing this generation. And before any snarky fanboys try to convince me that's a good thing, monopolies are NEVER good.
Competition is what will make this industry move forward, not one company owning the entire damn market.
EDIT: My bad, 'twas actually Molyneux who said Nintendo should go third party. Either way, I still find it ludicrous (and having it come from Molyneux doesn't really help the case either).
"Future Zelda games" =/= "All future Zelda games".
Twit.
@LOL_WUT
You have all these problems with the Wii U and yet you bought one anyway?
Yeah, Microsoft is restricting you from freely sharing games with your friends using DRM and looking at you with an always-on camera/microphone and online connection.
They're not going backwards at all, but somehow Nintendo's behind the times because of unconfirmed console specs. Okay, we'll just go with that. /s
@dedicatedtogamers
"Annual releases?" Er, Mario Kart 7 will have been out for over two years by the time Mario Kart 8 has been released.
Besides, the GCN had very little appeal outside of fans of Nintendo. The Wii was primarily casual and the Wii U seems to be going for a mix of the two (games like Wii Fit U verses Bayonetta 2). Being that Mario Kart Wii did pretty well and Mario Kart 7 is part of the 3DS' comeback, I can see that platform movin...
Sadly I did not. I was not really focused on the controller as I played, and being that I was on a time limit, I did not feel it was right to ask the kiosk host to help me waste time fiddling with the controller to get it to get the game onto the controller screen (that and I wanted to show off a bit lol).
Oh yeah Monster Hunter is great, even better now that it has off-TV play.
The point is they still put out new IPs when everyone seems to think otherwise?
