I certainly would not call the PS4 or Wii U generic. Like any generation, exclusive games and features will push consoles to success.
Is the Ouya even relevant at this point? From what I've heard it's been delayed for so long that the already cheap tech is now even more outdated. Aside from open source game development, I can't see this being a massive success with anyone other those enthusiastic for indie game development.
With the PS4 and Nextbox duking it out and the Wii U somewhere in between, I don't see where the Ouya can fit in all this. Just my opinion mind you; I'm well aware th...
Fair point lol. But by and large they are at least GOOD games. That's what matters most, or at least should IMO.
I was gonna say, it's only been half a year and those good games come out during summer. Also what about Monster Hunter and Lego City?
Is that why six first party games are releasing this year? How about YOU wake up and stop trying to spread this lie that all of their content is not coming out until 2014?
Various indie developers and Sega themselves (ironic you brought them up) beg to differ.
Funny thing, he's already stated the two versions may release at different times.

Aside from character limitations (pertaining specifically to characters like Ice Climbers), we don't know what exactly the 3DS version will hold back. The engine seems to be running pretty well based on the gameplay footage we've seen.
And besides, while they've said DLC is not on the table right now, that doesn't mean they won't c...
The article is an opinion piece and considering the headline, I don't believe this article would really give this guy's resume an objective shake. Some commenters here tend to be more knowledgeable than the authors of some of the opinion pieces I've read, so I was hoping to get insight from someone here.
Like dedicatedtogamers or rainslacker, who were actually kind enough to respond to my question.
No kidding. If Capcom makes a new Mega Man game that doesn't have egregiously handled DLC, I will puke rainbows.
Maybe I'm just ignorant, but would anyone mind telling me how much this guy has contributed to Microsoft beyond his pretty poor handling of PR over Xbox One? I'd like to know what he contributed, if anything, to the Xbox 360 and original Xbox eras for Microsoft's game division.
I do like most of your comments, I really do, but I have to disagree completely with you on this one.
We always complain about guys like Activison and EA doing the same thing over and over. Hell, I see that argument made toward Nintendo a lot.
Well, with Wind Waker they did something completely different with the franchise WHILE staying true to all the things that make the series great! Why is everyone so against Wind Waker's art style? It was cute, it wa...
Considering that an entirely new emulator is created for each individual game, I would agree with the context of the headline that it's not as a simple as a "ROM dump."
Just wish they would get to N64 and GBA games already. That's taking too long. Also where's the announcement for GCN games?
Wii U's online is more solid than Wii. I've had almost no random disconnections on Wii U whereas it happened constantly on the Wii. This was when playing Assassin's Creed III, Black Ops 2 and Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed on the console.
Beyond that, the OS and how it connects to the internet needs some fine tuning. There's still no achievements (though I personally find that feature inessential), no invite system and Wii U Chat is limited to two people an...
Actually you're wrong, six of them are coming out this year.
In all fairness around six or seven notable games are all coming out this year.
Game & Wario, Pikmin 3, Zelda WWHD, Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Wonderful 101 and New Super Luigi U (if you count it).
I've no patience for lying trolls like yourself. You flip-flop half the time and the other half you're telling lies, whether it's about Nintendo, its console or people who have gone out of their way to defend it.
So don't go playing the victim when your behavior has been nothing short of asinine, you tool.
I've seen some really stupid people try to claim that Luigi's Mansion, Paper Mario and Mario Kart are all the same because they have Mario characters in it.
I'll admit, there is a lot of games that use the Mario universe (a whole LOT), but no two Mario games are the same. Except maybe the New Super Mario Bros. games.
Agreed, but only to a certain extent. I don't like when people needlessly bash Nintendo. Nintendo makes great games, but their strategy as of late has been pretty obscure.
What I also don't like is when people defend their lack of push for online connectivity. I made a post condemning Nintendo for the lack of online in Mario 3D World and I had several Nintendo fans chewing me out for it (not on N4G, mind you).
Sure. After a bunch of price drops.
A proper new installment to Paper Mario wouldn't hurt either.
