One of the worst? Yeah, this was SO terrible compared to another all-casual game showcase with zero Mario, zero Zelda and piss-poor demo presentations with Reggie and other CEOs fiddling about and making the game look broken as oppose to fun (ala Nintendo's E3 showcase of '08 and '09).
Not to mention how this year's otherwise disappointing at worst presentation doesn't come anywhere close to the disaster that was last year's show.
Perfectly reasonable, but you won't be able to use controllers, it's not HD and it probably won't be online (assuming they choose to pull a Monster Hunter).
People seem to hold the actions of each individual company in different levels of accountability. Some will defend Sony for their handling of the hack attack a couple years back, while others have been highly critical. Meanwhile the same can be said about Microsoft's handling of DRM and always-online features on their new console.
It's all about bias in the end. Not necessarily a bad thing as long as people can take an objective fact and be honest on their subjectivit...
Keep leaving ignorant comments like this and you'll be the first person to go back to one bubble before the new comment system is live.
@SilentNegotiator
I'm sure you'd be absolutely thrilled if Sony developed the next Hello Kitty video game.
I've made this point before. There are plenty of mature games on the market and Nintendo has no reason or need to add to that. You would not ask Pixar to direct a rated R slasher flick. You're grasping for a reason to criticize the company for anything other than what is already explicitly known to be wrong with their management, and I ca...
Well let's hope he's right.
*smash* "WHO DA **** SAID DAT?!"
Really? I was wondering "when the heck are you guys gonna get started on that?" But hey! Better late than never I suppose. Good news.
I know it's annoying to buy a new console for a game you really want, but seriously, let it go. Bayonetta 2 would not even EXIST were it not for Nintendo.
Wonderful 101? Nintendo's also rescued Bayonetta 2. Banking on an IP that didn't initially sell well? That's pretty risk in and of itself.
@gaminoz
Oh yes, I agree. Nintendo banks on their big IPs a lot, so I understand the frustration. But that doesn't mean those small risks they take should be ignored IMO.
He's saying it would be a nice gesture if you said "It would be great if Wii U owners could have Bethesda's support as well as us Vita owners." Basically you're only thinking for yourself as oppose to the benefit of everyone.
I don't own a Vita right now, but I do want it to have some support for those who already own one.
Sony yes, Microsoft no. Not even close.
Free to play, so... why not? :p Bonus points if they make it cross-compatible with PS3 online.
Hope so. You guys are a pretty big developer, and those two systems are in need of some bigger, better support.
Saw it myself at the Best Buy experience. The game looks like an HD upgrade of the original and it runs at a smooth 60fps. If you liked the original game on the GCN, you'll probably like it just as much on Wii U.
Awesome. The more games the merrier.
All the new consoles are pretty expensive, but I'd say both the PS4 and Wii U suffice in value. I could never go past $399 for any console though, no matter what brand.
Since day one, this console just cannot catch a break.
Yeah, why couldn't Monster Games do it? They did a pretty good job with the port of the 3DS game from what I heard.
Because no one emulator can run all ROMs perfectly. They structure a new emulator for each game that runs it identically to how it did on its original console.
This is good for nostalgia, but personally to me, seeing more games upgraded with better performance or online multiplayer would be amazing.
Gamers; showin' that indie love.
