Titanfall is a possibility once the exclusivity deal is gone. That one is also coming to 360 isn't it? Destiny is probably possible as well. Other than that, who knows?
Wasn't Metal Gear Rising marketed well enough? That game sold very well from what I heard.
Or because it's a little cheaper in Japan.
I understand that, I'm just trying to rationalize why Nintendo would be met with "resistance" at Nintendo. And my guess is because OoT 3D was not as successful as they would have hoped.
I understand why the game is being made and I personally am looking forward to it.
A good friend of mine has been hyping the crap out of the new Amnesia, and is also pretty frustrated at all of the delays. Along with said friend, I've heard quite a few people are anticipating it.
Haven't played the first one for myself, but I've heard it was an amazingly well made experience.
I think a variety of things should happen to get the system selling. A price cut, more third party partnerships and accessibility and development aid for indie developers, just to name a few. Nintendo has a lot of work to do, but I don't think it's ethical to completely write off the Wii U just yet.
I agree. The Wii U can still get some fun content. Mine has access to a variety of physical and digital games from both its own library and the Wii's.
In the same vain that Vita is good for Sony fans and provides access to a variety of content, the Wii U needs more NEW stuff to get people excited and interested in the actual console.
Yeah, turns out you were right. I was hearing about a number of games being full HD/60 fps, but only a couple were indeed confirmed. That's my bad.
I know Mario Kart 8, Zelda Wind Waker HD and Smash Bros. are supposed to be 1080p. I've heard Bayonetta 2 is as well. Sonic Lost World I've heard is 60fps, but no idea on full HD.
Personally I'd rather have it there than not. It adds a lot of convenience to be able to play games without the need of a TV. Just wish Nintendo's newer games made better use of it.
I would hope they use this tech with their next console when it's cheaper to make them and just focus on making a powerful, competitive console. Hopefully this generation and their performance within it will serve as a lesson for the company as to not ride something like the Wii brand ...
It's amazing how both our comments are riddled with disagrees when it's nothing but the truth.
Cross-play is NOT helping the Vita sell. It wasn't from the beginning and the fans can click that disagree button all they want. In the same vain that touch-screen gaming has not helped sell the Wii U, cross-play is not helping Vita.
An option to make the Vita a PS4 controller is not going to make it sell, not at its current price tag, though some exciti...
I beg to differ. Hardly anyone, Nintendo included, has bothered to take advantage of whatever online capabilities it has over the original Wii.
Cross-buy hasn't been working very well at all for Vita, in case you haven't noticed. The only thing that has helped it sell is its price drop in Japan.
Cross-buy is not a bad feature. If anything, getting a free Vita copy with all of my console purchases is pretty cool and adds value to the package. It's cross-play that I feel they should loosen up on. No one wants a $250 Vita to be used as a PS4 controller (which comes in a package that's already $400). Give...
I'm guessing it's because Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D wasn't the initial smash hit Nintendo expected it to be. Nintendo is very fickle-minded when it comes to what sells and what doesn't. Why try another remake when the first one was not nearly as successful as was hyped up to be?
Either way, I don't care. I'm still getting this game, and damn it all I STILL want a Majora's Mask remake on top of it.
Off-topic comment is off-topic.
TP yes, SS not so much for me.
Twilight Princess' graphics were somewhat juvenile when they hit the Wii. They looked like a low end PS2 game when obviously the Wii could do a little more with it.
Skyward Sword on the other hand had a brilliant art style, and part of it was their way of getting around draw distance. Too far away to render? Make it look like a moving painting on a canvas. It was nothing short of beautiful to look at.
I feel...
Yeah... the devs want it, the fans want it, Miyamoto wants it, there are freaking third party devs who want it, but the only ones who don't seem to want a new F-Zero is the higher-ups at Nintendo.
Please tread lightly, these lands are full of strawman arguments...
I already made a blog about this. I think some people, for one reason or another, close their mind off to what the competition offers.
People have fibbed time and time again that I somehow hate Sony and Microsoft just because I like Nintendo, but that's anything but the truth. The PS4 has an immensely promising lineup and even the shoddily at best revealed Xbox One has some interesting content that I definitely want to play.
The only ones who completely s...
Not to mention the ramifications that have come from their damn insistence on NOT pushing for online multiplayer or really any sort of online advantages the Wii U has over the previous Wii.
As a fan, it's all nothing short of frustrating.
Seems like a pretty shallow excuse for writing a game off. I most certainly wasn't sick of Jak when I played Jak X.
