No it isn't, you insufferable troll.
The 3DS clearly doesn't match the Vita in graphical prowess and yet remains a primary contender in game sales while the Vita remains at Wii U sales numbers in all but a few weeks in Japan. And mind you, the 3DS has some pretty good looking games as well.
The point I'm making here is that the Wii U is capable of making good looking games WITHOUT being on par with its upcoming competition. The games coming out be...
I was going to say; why port Skyrim when you can just have a brand new iteration?
I don't see why you have so many disagrees. You do make a good point in that Iwata and Reggie don't provide the best PR to entice customers. In fact, lately all I've seen Reggie be good for is the "My body is ready" meme. Meanwhile PS4 has gained a ton of traction simply by Sony catering to gamers and having that spread through a combination of ads, articles and word of mouth.
The Wii U's future is really up in the air right now. I have no idea if Ni...
People also believed it was weaker than the 360 and incapable of running Unreal Engine 4 and Frostbite 3. Look how that turned out.
I do feel it is a lame justification. I don't see much of a need to remove region locks on Wii U right now and that's mostly because there are no games exclusive to particular regions yet. 3DS on the other hand has a couple of Hatune Miku games I'd really love to play, but the damn system is region locked.
Ignoring users for the sake of parental controls is lousy. I really don't even see how parental controls are so embedded into the region locks. Why not just...
I really missed Mewtwo in Brawl. Lucario is okay, but doesn't hold a candle. I'm expecting the new transformation to be Nintendo's reasoning in bringing him back into the game.
As long as the player is not forced to use the Wiimote+Nunchuk combo, I think the fans will wind up liking the game either way.
I disagree with that somewhat. Last time I checked, hordes of fans were not exactly clamoring for mechs and jetpacks before they were used in Halo.
That said Nintendo really needs to stop ignoring their fanbase at this point. I appreciate that they have unconventional ideas and act upon them, but for goodness' sake... throw your fans a damn bone!
The resolutions speak for themselves. A significant number of the Wii U games coming out toward the end of the year are confirmed to be running in full HD at 60fps. That's more than can be said for the 360/PS3 and much of their library.
Obviously the Wii U won't necessarily match up to the PS4/Xbox One. But if developers actually take advantage of the hardware the games can still look pretty nice and be rendered well. Mario Kart 8 and Sonic Lost World are no InFamous ...
Pachter has had a tendency to jump to extremes and get a lot of things wrong. Even with the Wii U's present woes, it's not surprising that he'd be off-base in some respect here.
EA's full of crap, as I and several others have already said a number of times in the past.
Love lists like these. These are wonderfully talented people.
Fun fact: One Troy Baker is Booker DeWitt in Bioshock Infinite and Joel from The Last of Us, in case you didn't know. Didn't even realize that at first, personally.
Well, it's been a few years since Kingdom Hearts 1, right? How about adult versions of Tidus, Selphie and Wakka?
Sonic Generations begs to differ. As do the Adventure games.
Doesn't mean a difference if this version is still lacking in basic features. Until they bother to patch in private/custom matches, I'm not touching it.
No kidding. Why was this a surprise conference for Japan only?
Obviously I don't have much to go off of, but from the game footage I've seen, it looks like a crafty and funny little side scroller. Definitely worth checking out.
A lot of the people writing it off are people generally do not like James Rolfe and his AVGN character; the kind of people who threw a fit because he asked for donations to make his feature film.
Commercially yes, there are some downloadable games I'm personally looking forward to that may or may not be out this year. But yes, as far as game discs go, that's pretty much the list of the best games this year.
Kind of a bummer they could not have gotten Star Fox or a 3D Pokemon. You know, SOMETHING unconventional and at least a little risque.
Well the fans have been clamoring, and rightfully so. Capcom better have something creative up their sleeves for Mega Man. That franchise deserves a lot more love than its current IP holders are giving.
You're one to talk.
