Pretty much. At this point it's looking like anywhere between Gamecube and N64 numbers would wind up being impressive in the long run.
1. This gamepad shape was popularized by both Nintendo (SNES) and Sony (PS1). And the Dreamcast had triggers before the Xbox existed.
2. Not very uncomfortable. It's definitely an adjustment, but nothing anyone can't get used to.
EDIT: May as well crap on Logitech for their replica controller styles.
Absolutely. Ever wonder why games like Destiny, Battlefield 4 and Watchdogs are hitting 360/PS3? It's because there's money to be made there, even if the specs don't compare to the new successors. If Wii U was selling like the Wii was when it first came out, I guarantee the 3rd part support would be a lot less bleak.
Then you, like those many others simply won't be able to buy those games legally. It's your loss as far as I'm concerned.
Seems you're the one without a clue if you can't take into account Sony's 6 billion dollar loss around the same time Nintendo lost half a billion. Your reasoning for Nintendo have to put their games on other companies' consoles is ludicrous and is overall a bad business strategy.
Their console is not selling very much to begin with right now; why the hell would they give you access to those VC games on other hardware and give you LESS incentive to buy their mo...
Trauma Center was Atlus? Holy crap! I had no idea. A friend of mine already had me play coop with her in one of the Wii games. It was an absolute blast.
Deeeefinitely picking this up. A friend of mine recommended Persona 3 to me after I tried Catherine. Atlus has a damn good track record, so I look forward to this game as well.
I'm not sure how that would turn out. The story would have to be crafted in a very clever manner for that to work. What if you have a Link who's a brawny, strong, jock-type in one person's game and a slender, smaller, more underdog-esque type of Link in another? How would the story accommodate both of these Links in the same game unless it adjusts based on how the customizations have been fitted?
It's not like Skyrim where your character is essentially nameles...
"I agree, but let it also be known that feminism does not necessarily equal craziness and "female supremacy"."
Sorry if my comment suggested I thought otherwise. I'm well aware of the true meaning of feminism. I'm a firm believer in it (gender equality specifically). However, there are indeed those extremists who distort the whole concept and make the entire philosophy seem like a Dictator-esque power struggle.
I was happy for Sile...
Hey, it's good enough for me. Nintendo games take a while to drop in price anyway. Why not get some free stuff/games along with them?
@TripC50
Same exact thing with me. The CD seemed like a nice collector's item, but I decided I'd rather have the posters since I can download the soundtrack at any time. Just a shame I couldn't get the calendar with it.
Was it? I only remember seeing the trailer. I must have missed that lol. But hey, knowing it's playable at this event is great all the same.
Only 19 days to go? Well crap. I wish I had known about this sooner. Hopefully it gets funded.
@Luismacintosh
Really? I've never heard of a Kickstarter starting with only 20 days on the clock before. But hey, not a bad start for a first day. About eleven more days with that kind of progress and it will be fully funded. Spread the word Alive fans!
Speak for yourself. After Pikmin is Wonderful 101 and Zelda. Then Sonic. Then Donkey Kong. Then Mario. Then next year there's Mario Kart, Bayonetta and Smash Bros.
"yes, sexism exists in the gaming world. Like any modern debate, the issue is quickly forced into a question of existence, and never about extent, and that rhetoric is quickly adopted by the loudest and most stupid."
Couldn't have said it better myself. It seems very strange to me how anytime sexism is brought up in any sort of context relevant to video games there's always this knee-jerk reaction from people who insist that there is absolutely no sexism of ...
Bayonetta 2 is playable? Nice! I've been wanting to see the game being played in action.
Well, he wouldn't be the only person in the industry who has changed their view on the console (for better or for worse). Let's see what kind of games he can make.
Dang... a poster set, Majora's Mask soundtrack CD, the new calendar or a free game. That's a pretty difficult choice.
This has to be the most hardcore "drill sergeant-esque" Pikmin commercial ever conceived.
Yeah, tell me about it. Looks a lot better than the previous iterations if you ask me.
It's good to have some optimism, but much of the industry seems to think Nintendo's exclusive aren't enough to turn this console around. I guess we'll see what happens come the holiday season.
