We certainly will see, won't we?
"Luckily, Disney have thought ahead, and produced a special "sidekicks" triple pack triple pack that comes with an extra figure for each of the three films - Mike from Monsters Inc, Mrs Incredible, and Barbossa - but while it'll let you play through the Play Sets in co-op, it also carries an RRP of £30, bringing the total cost (assuming you want to play through the whole game with a friend in tow) to £80-90."
While it's cool of them to th...
Gears of Zelda? Yeah... no thanks.
My guess is that was the point. Kinda like my blog but on the opposite spectrum where mine came to Nintendo's defense but was mostly about maintaining a third party solution. :p
I won't start comparing how many entitled Sony or Nintendo fans there are in this whole debacle, but there most certainly is a lot of entitled brats on both sides (regardless of the ratio). Atlus should remain third party, maintain their usual business and go on as they were before. EVERYONE w...
The reason Rare became what it became is because over time much of the original team left the studio and formed other studios. Like with Sonic Team, the reason RARE mostly lost its amazing mojo is because it's a shadow of its former self with much less of the same talent that was there before.
Fail to see what the disagrees are for. You're pretty much on the ball here. For Nintendo fans it WOULD be a good thing because Aluts consistently makes great games. However it's best if Atlus remains third party for everyone and continue as they were doing before.
We've already discussed this on my blog, so I'll keep this comment as short as possible lol.
I agree wholeheartedly, in spite of my feelings that Nintendo owning Atlus would be beneficial for both Nintendo and Atlus as companies, I absolutely would not want any fans who have played games on other platforms left out. It simply isn't fair to any one side.
Dang dude, you're missing out! I hope you can get a copy during this sale. :)
I didn't.
"...the Sony fanboys who get antsy about anything critical said about the Vita..."
I wasn't saying all Sony fanboys, I specifically stated it was the ones who get pissy about any criticism the Vita receives.
It's cool man. Wasn't really trying to change your view, nor do I even feel it to be necessary to do so. And like I said it's certainly not outside the realm of reason to have those concerns. My view is just different, that's all and I appreciate that we can respect each others views.
"That way everyone can enjoy their games--because in the end, being confined to any one console is like a form of censorship all in itself (whether exclusive to Sony or Nint...
"but why is it that it is even a debatable issue?"
Honestly my friend, I think a better question is why WOULD Nintendo censor Atlus' work? Aside from Mortal Kombat in the SNES days, I don't really know of any times where Nintendo censored anything. You can argue it's because Nintendo has taken the "kiddie" route, but there's little to convince me that they are willing to censor other developers' work. (Ironically enough, No More Heroes ...
Technically one of the CDi games tried that... that didn't turn out so well. However I would not mind if they tried to have a co-op game with Zelda as the second player. It certainly would have helped the last boss battle in Wind Waker. Zelda would only fire those arrows when my shield was down!
But of course, only if the game is tailored to work with co-op and with a franchise like Zelda, something like that could be tricky.
I'm Commander Mass Effect and this is my favorite article in the Citadel!
EDIT: God, I'm terrible lol.
Different approach. Kingdom Hearts is a real time RPG. This is trying to be like Skylanders.
Halo is a cool guy. He shoots aliens and doesn't afraid of anything.
The hero doesn't need their name in the title to be the hero, you know. :p
I didn't say it would always be the top portable market, I'm only saying there IS a market to begin with. 3DS does not need to sell PS2/DS numbers to be a viable or even successful platform.
Right now a lot of devs don't believe their games can sell on Wii U. With a small install base you can't blame them entirely. Capcom's done well with Nintendo's more modern platforms before. Hopefully they'll throw Wii U owners a bone.
Hey, I'll buy it. Just make sure it's not gimped like some of the other Wii U ports out there.
Oh come on, Pachter. The 3DS' sales alone prove that question is moot. As far as I'm concerned, there's always going to be a dedicated handheld market. The 3DS and Vita will do fine.
Not the greatest reason presently. The Japanese library and western libraries are pretty much the same.
