@LOL_WUT
It may give you something better to do with your time at least.
"Non canon spinoff."
And? It doesn't change how ridiculous the series as a whole is.
"Still much more grounded than a human being jumping off of a rocket or jump kicking an 80 meter tall mech in the knee."
Really? You're going to say that after MGS2 and 4's finales? Snake survived being stranded in the middle of the ocean in one game and drove a damn Metal Gear Rex in the other.

I get that Miyamoto made Wii Music, but that's like criticizing Steven Spielberg for Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. You may not have liked the movie, but it doesn't mean the man did not direct Jurassic Park, Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan. Every director has a project that people don't really connect with, even the great ones.
I say let Miyamoto have his go. He's made bad decisions before but I think he's made quite a few more good ones.
@sweetSWAGGER
At that point I think it's all about preference. Since Twin Snakes was my first Metal Gear game it was easy for me to accept Snake as someone who could do flippy tricks like that, especially since the game begins by talking about how Snake was this amazing living legend and really played up his character. I didn't mind them much; if anything I thought they were cool, and I felt it helped set the stage for the sort of bond that he and Gray Fox had.
There is some amount of criticism drawn toward the game. Not saying it's everywhere, but I've seen some mud slung at Twin Snakes from a few video game websites (Destructoid being the big example I cited) and friends of mine who are into the Metal Gear franchise, so I often felt like the odd man out when it came to that topic. I was just taking some of the common criticisms I observed and was responding to them.
As a matter of fact, I am. Snake doing exaggerated action hero moves is a lot more believable to me than, say, Raiden lifting a freaking Metal Gear Ray and face planting it on the ground in Rising. Or Vamp having vampire powers because of nanomachines. Or the Fury and his ridiculously overpowered rocket fuel-powered jetpack/flamethrower hybrid.
I can honestly keep going with how insane and wacky the Metal Gear games are and it really surprises me that Snake performing some fl...
Sounds intriguing, exciting even. Now how about a title? Or perhaps a full on reveal?
Agreed. Sonic Lost World really is the next big game. Mario is, on the other hand, treading familiar ground by using 3D Land's formula. Not that this is bad, mind you. I feel this new Sonic game is more fresh and exciting.
As a Mario fan, I accept this. This game looks too damn good.
I'm not entirely sure, but didn't Sonic Colors sell better than Sonic Generations? I could have sworn the former, while not really the fan favorite, had slightly higher reviews and sold a few million more.
People didn't like Portable Ops? All I ever heard was how good it was as a Metal Gear PSP game.
I've yet to play Portable Ops myself, and I was really disappointed it was not included in the Legacy collection. Is it downloadable on PSN and compatible with the Vita?
Also congrats on getting your ninth bubble. :)

Meh indeed. I played MGS3 on the 3DS before I got the legacy collection and the controls were managea...
Two wrongs don't make a right. The one who called him out was just as much of a prick.
Definitely for their fans. Possibly for the mass market. But some gamers are definitely still feeling the burn and rightfully so. Those who hold a grudge and those who don't are not really in the wrong.
Well, the 3DS version. They're technically two different games since they don't share the same level designs. Or at least that's what Sonic Team and Dimps have been doing for the past three or so Sonic games.
As far as I'm concerned, Beer is just as responsible, if not more so for being a condescending prick and throwing the match on the gasoline. Not saying Fish is innocent for fanning the flames and reacting so immaturely, but he's not the most sociable guy to begin with. It's not fair to judge him by the same standards given it's been pretty easy to tell the man is not as capable of making his messages clear and concise as the average person in the industry.

Pandora's Tower is listed as partially developed by Nintendo. So it counts, unlike your ignorance.
You do realize games take years to develop, right? Look at the amount of 3DS games that have come out recently in comparison to Wii U. Nintendo even said part of the reason Wii U support was sluggish was because they had dedicated a lot of developers to the 3DS which also had a very rough start.
It makes all the sense in the world in the proper context.
@Cam977
Okay. Now stop using yourself as an example and think of the mass market, which is not exactly buying either Vita or Wii U in droves.
Anyone who gets the new Smash Bros. perhaps?
Been saying that for about half a year, actually. :p
