Powerful enough to run the Zelda E3 2011 tech demo.
Besides, it has to be pretty strong if it'll run that Aliens game with enhanced visuals and putting content into the controller's screen all together in real time Not a powerhouse, per se, but strong enough to surpass what we have now.
Why does this rumor keep getting posted over and over?
Greedy corporation vs. ignorant bigotry.
I'll go with EA as the lesser of two evils.
They're still more credible than anonymous sources on the day after April Fools.
I find it funny that I enjoyed the game for what it was and am able to play it pretty well without the need for the stand. The problem is the players, not the game itself. It's like getting mad at a fighting game for having complex combos or Halo's Legendary difficulty.
A Kid Icarus game on Wii U would be nice. But since the thing isn't even out yet, the 3DS was a great outlet to revive the franchise.
That's a terrible argument. Not every PS3/Vita game is cross-compatible. In fact, if you own the game on the PS3 but not the Vita, you're out of luck.
My apologies. Forgive my rise. It's frustrating to see people acting as if this rumor is suddenly a fact when there are so many actual facts suggesting otherwise.
Real and big name devs have said it's a good and in most cases "powerful" console. EA, THQ, Gearbox and even Epic. It's frustrating to see people accept the word of an anonymous source the day after April Fools. To be honest I find it ridiculous.
Oh sure, THIS comes out and all of the people flocking to the "Wii U is underpowered" anonymous quote are no where to be seen. Typical.
It's not out of the question to imagine more people thinking of using the Wii U for those types of games as oppose to a Vita/PS3 combo. For one thing it's more convenient getting everything in one box and it's cheaper.
You know what, I really don't care how many disagrees I get for this.
Are you fucking stupid? This is a reposting of a rumor that came out the day after April Fools. What makes this factual? I'd also like to know what makes it so believable.
THQ, Vigil, EA, Gearbox and even Epic Games have said things contrary to this anonymous source's claim. Jeez, I feel like I'm living on a foreign planet right now.
What are you talking about? This isn't news at all. This is a reposting of the same quote from an "anonymous source" suggesting a claim (contradictory to the words of bigger and actually named developers) about the Wii U's power.
It's the same quote from April 2nd. A day after April Fools. The fact that you believe this at face value really shows how easily persuaded you are.
People also laughed when Nintendo was coming out with a fighting game starring their mascots. Look how that turned out.
I don't see how that's a bad thing. A lot of my friends have a habit of turning their controllers like steering wheels during racing games. Having the option to actually do that sounds promising.
Epic's Mark Rein actually referred to the original Wii as, and I quote, "a piece of shit."
He in the past couple of months commented on how the Wii U is a great console. Valve pulled a similar switcheroo according to Shok.
So yes, it's happened. Particularly to Nintendo as well. Again, this "underpowered" rumor is coming in the form of several articles since the day after April Fools. People should take the words of these "ano...
Being at least $100 under the price of the competition is overpriced?
The Wii was only $50 more expensive than the Gamecube. I know what you're going to say; "It was old tech wah wah blah blah."
The Wii supported lower HD resolutions (480i through composite cables I believe), was bundled with Wii Sports, was fully backwards compatible with the previous generation and it offered downloadable games and later on allowed media viewing like Netflix a...
More of this "anonymous source" bullshit. Anyone who takes this as fact is a total tard.
Looks good! Since I can't use my 360 anymore, I'll probably wait for the Wii U version. Here's hoping it can use the tablet and stylus as a control option.
Popularity never equals quality. The top Apple apps and the top musical singles of the month are proof of that.
That's why Sony and Microsoft followed their lead this past generation with Move and Kinect.
