I wonder if THQ is really in need of saving. Yeah, they lost a lot of money, but so did Nintendo, Sony and Sega. And those guys are fine for the most part.
They're certainly hyping it up (particularly the Wii U version) enough to make them some money.
Bummer. I'll take Ultra/Mega Nintendo though.
I can dig that. Better than Wii U.
Factor5 closed its doors after Lair bombed like a motherfucker. That's why. :(
I don't really care. I can get Angry Birds for free on a web browser. I don't need to buy it. Especially for an idevice I don't care to own. All I'm saying is the Wii U could benefit to have Angry Birds on it in order to bring in buyers. That's all.
Wii U could benefit from Minecraft and Angry Birds (not that I care to play the latter very much). It'd reel in at least a small percentage of people.
Throw some Star Fox into the mix and it's a day 1 purchase for me.
Because N4G users love negativity?
LOL Phantom disagree. With a fact followed closely by a joke.
Holy crap, a speculative [Wii U] article that cites facts in its analysis? I think N4G is about to implode upon itself.
Old as this is, I love the designs. They remind me very much of Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2.
But the tech we saw at E3 is officially outdated. Nintendo confirmed that the version that will be in retail is going to be at E3. You gotta reel 'em in with the biggest of the big shows, you know?
If they showed the old Wii U, it'll probably give people the wrong idea, particularly since we're pretty close to E3.
Don't really care. There are too many games coming out that I'm actually interested in for me to gamble $60 on this one.
If others like it, then cool, but I'm not interested. I'll be respectfully passing on it.
Well, for now we have Netflix. And we got Tangled out of that. Albeit not in 3D.
LOL. Bubble for being funny.
It plays games. Or at least that's the primary function. That ought to be reason enough.
To address the article itself, I think it's pretty apparent that Nintendo purposely kept the exclusives a secret so as to generate hype at E3. I'm thinking it'll include a new Mario game, whatever Retro is currently working on, and one of the new IPs Nintendo's rumored to be making.
To accuse it of having no games before E3 rolls around is ignorant and...
What about New Super Mario Bros. Mii? They had a demo for that at E3.
Personally, I just hope if it becomes a full game that they optimize it for online co-op.
Super Mario 4...
Just don't kill the physics Nintendo. Learn from Sonic Team's mistake. :)
Was this game really THAT awful? I mean I expect based on the complaints that was not as good as some of the other ones, but was it really terrible? A number of my good friends who are fans of this series said it was not nearly as bad as the reviews suggested.
