Actually he's currently working on Pikmin 3. He only helps produce certain Mario games (like 3D Land) not necessarily always develop them.
Try again.
I remember a month or two ago that Nintendo is rumored to be publishing/developing three new IPs. They gave us Dillon's Rolling Western on 3DS (which was actually pretty decent), so I reckon they'll hit us with more stuff for the new console.
Odd. Thought that the Dreamworks animated Shrek + Thriller video counted as selling video content. Hm.
You know, even I have begun to wonder how and why you create these comments the way you do. But hey, I dig your never ending positivity. More gamers should be positive as oppose to hateful. And I mean hateful towards anything in the gaming industry, not just Nintendo related things.
(Slightly off topic) Except for Capcom DLC. That's an exception.
I think Skyward Sword would be better in terms of a comparison. But yes, I agree.
They're older than most of our great grandfolks, so...
How about 2.5D? 3D graphics with 2D gameplay, like New Super Mario Bros.?
FUCK. YES.
Yeah, yeah, I'm a fanboy alright. Screw it, I love the Pikmin games and I can't wait for this new one.
Weren't the Wii games made by Nintendo some of the best looking ones? Mario Galaxy and Skyward Sword are beautiful games, even without HD.
Keep in mind the name ultimately does not say anything about the console's actual overall quality.
That's not confirmed, so the name doesn't really work.
*Needs* is a pretty strong word there. I don't think the Wii name is detrimental, but if they plan on marketing this thing to core audiences, it would do them well to come up with something more... core-y.
I still say Ultra Nintendo. Heck, I'd even take Super Wii.
They're certainly exploring it.
I think the console will support at least two. I think Nintendo wants people to use those Wiimotes though. Remember back in the day when Nintendo said the Wii U's controller could be used as a sensor bar? In a way, we'll still be using the U-pad even when we're not actually playing with it.
Besides, you really won't really need more than one if it comes down to online multiplayer. Just saying.
I ask myself the same question. It takes eons to get positive Wii U articles approved (such as the video of ReviewTechUSA proving it's not a weak console) as oppose to how quickly negative ones get approved here.
And might I say the negative ones are typically horse shit. This one is a perfect example of that.
I'm not sure it'll work that way entirely. However, I think Nintendo can sell at least enough units to its primary fanbase since the Wii aided in upping that number. More kids I know play Mario nowadays then back when I first bought a GCN.
Oh give me a goddamn break. "Rumors have been circulating since E3 that Wii U will only support one controller."
Really? The thing is still compatible with the Wii Remote and Classic controller. Not to mention, we don't know yet if the Wii U will not have GCN controller support for sure (GCN game playback is another story).
It's also rumored that the Wii U will have GCN titles in its Virtual Console. To assume right away that there won't...
As in regulations?
Well, fuck capitalism everyone!
If you want to be practical, you could say the same thing about Capcom without Inafune.
I'm a big gamer. I like consoles and games I can get on my dated computer (when they run properly as well).
I will NOT buy a console that won't let me play used games on it. No amount of Halo or Uncharted can sway me in that regard.
At the very least I'm aware no such rumor was stated for Wii U, so that console's safe. I may wind up just going with Wii U and PC in that case.
Potential for other developers for one thing. Hype for their upcoming projects for another.
