Nice conference. I'm rather intrigued by some of their concepts. Wish they had shown more though. I guess that's what E3 is for.
Excellent news. Now then, let's have some more third parties join in.
While some may disagree, I think the blame should befall all parties, not just Gearbox or Timegate. Maybe not even equally, but everyone involved allowed the confusion to ensue in some way.
And you're consistently on reverse damage control. Seriously, you and a few others on here go out of your way to point out every negative about this console on every article as well as downplaying any potential good news that comes out.
I've seen people make honest and valid criticisms for the Wii U and for the most part I honestly don't blame them for thinking so (even if I disagree with them). You on the other hand, do nothing of the sort.
Double derp on my part then. Thanks for the clarification. Bubble up for being helpful. :)
EDIT: @PygmelionHunter
I rushed onto my 3DS for the same reason lol. Ah well. One more day isn't all that bad of a wait.
Wow, that's a lot of interesting information for both Nintendo and Sony fans! I don't know about anyone else, but it's a good day to be a gamer. The Smash Bros. beta testing rumor is my personal favorite.
I have to admit this made me laugh. Love these guys.
If they actually did wind up cutting the price, I would not mind this being the end result at all.
I think the list of VC games is rather unrealistic though. All of the games given to 3DS ambassadors were all made by Nintendo. This guy is including games from Rare, Capcom and other such publishers.
Not that I'd complain if this were the actual list, by the way. These are all solid games.
Son of gun! Thanks for the bombshell! I better download me some demos now.
EDIT: Derp. Goof on my part. Didn't see that it said for Europe. Oh well. Hopefully they'll bring those demos to the States soon.
I would assume they would learn a thing or two after the PS3. Anyway, why is this article in the Wii U section?
It could certainly entice RPG fans as well as general fans of the series. No one game can carry a console, but any big release can provide a boost, if only a tiny one.
@MadMen
Do you have to be a condescending jerk when approaching someone who disagrees with you? The game was a collaborative effort. The blame should be shared by everyone involved.
Glad you and I are on the same page for once.
I've had moments like these myself. It's really quite amazing that the franchise still gives me good times after having grown with it over the years.
People may claim this series is the same game over and over, but I love how well the formula works and what new ideas they throw at it with each new generation, Majora's Mask dark atmosphere and story as well as Skyward Sword's solid motion control and beautiful art style to name a couple.
Forgiv...
First of all, it's nothing that could not have been included as DLC or a patch or an update unless they plan on nearly doubling the amount of content (which I highly doubt). Secondly, the delay is causing this game to launch in the same month as GTAV and Wind Waker Reborn. Extra content won't sway consumers from buying either of these games.
Going multiplatform is not bad at all. Delaying this game is.
So basically everyone but the horse's mouth is confirming it. Oh well, works for me. Hopefully they use the gamepad properly with the hacking element in the game.
That's a ridiculous assessment.
"He said nothing about [x platform] so it won't come out for it anytime soon!"
He said nothing about it which means it's still up in the air. Keep in mind, they haven't formally announced anything about this game other than it's a PS3/360 game, meaning the Wii U is more than capable of handling it hardware-wise.
Now if they specifically say "No Wii U version," or "th...
The Wii U is next gen regardless. It came a generation after the Wii. That's it.
While I still would like to see a brand new game built from the ground up and using the Wii U's full power, it's nice that at least one developer took some initiative, made their port look appropriately better on a newer machine.
Not to mention it finally puts these ridiculous assertions people keep ignorantly spouting that the Wii U is only on par or even weaker than...
So you admit that the sales figures were initially bad for the 360... but only call the Wii U a "failure by all accounts" when it's in the same boat?
That doesn't make a lick of sense. Exactly what crystal ball do you have telling you that sales can't pick up for the Wii U later on the way they did for the 360?
Would have been nice to see the actual console, but it's a minute thing to expect. More than likely it will be shown at E3.
