The articles that came out during the hack attack were a cross between retarded and asinine. A lot of people were jumping to conclusions, spreading misinformation and of course labeling Sony as Satan's offspring.
After seeing that, it's pretty easy to see when someone has produced a similar article for other companies and products.
The correct number would be one of 3+ million.
@AsimLeonheart
"No online"
The online was down for all of a day. Barely a single day, not even a full day. Are you serious?
It's a derp on their marketing, mostly. The Wii name is currently the most successful brand for Nintendo, so from a marketing standpoint it makes sense to reuse somehow. Unfortunately simply adding "U" did not make it seem different enough.
The blue that you see on Wii U products are a stark contrast from the original Wii's simple white and grey scheme. The Wii U itself is very different from the Wii. It's name unfortunately isn't.
@...
All depends on how much time and effort is put into it.
This is off-topic, but I should let you know that you still have me blocked. :P
I'm no expert, but isn't this considered to be spam?
EDIT: Just to note, I was referring to the emails, not the article itself. But the poster was really rude about it anyway. Go figure.
lol I'm guessing the first two words was all you read of my comment?
Nintendo's not really relying on Luigi if they're making more games for Mario. Luigi's featured in some, not all of them, has one game starring himself and an expansion to a Mario game he stars in. That's about it.
Also a snitch is someone who "tattles" on someone. There's an episode of Spongebob I can recommend that might make you understand the concept.
...Wat. That's pretty cheap. Do other retailers do this? I can't imagine what extending the price range will gain outside of a short term extra profit.
Take a game, bump up the graphics, include the DLC, make some new content, fix any potential issues AND take advantage of the Wii U's features and you have yourself a proper rerelease. Good to know it's shaping up well, according to the article.
Not surprising. Presently there is a lot more excitement and hype surrounding the future consoles (for obvious reasons). Support for the Wii U will probably be sparse for this first year at least.
Doomed? No. In need of some work from Nintendo, definitely.
Wow. That's surprising to me. Wrex is one of my favorite squadmates. That guy is a beast. I'm surprised well over half of these players didn't even meet the guy. Talk about a missed opportunity.
Well for one thing it's made by WayForward and those guys are amazing.
That's already been confirmed for Q2 this year though, right? I'm talking about the really big titles that we will probably see at E3.
Well they did announce it was in development. My guess is it will come out in spring of next year though. I get the feeling Wind Waker Reborn and Mario Kart will be the only games that make it to the holiday season. But then I could be wrong. We'll see come E3 I suppose.
Specs matter to people on the internet who enjoy discussing them, not the mass market. If specs did matter to the mass market, people would have consistently purchased the most powerful console more often than the less powerful ones and history usually went with the opposite.
It's Alex Jones. Frankly it should have been tagged as "cockamamie bullshit."
My guess is this will be a part of a patch for the other platforms once this version comes out. These rereleases don't really typically dictate any sort of real exclusivity, but it is nice to at least some third parties taking a leap of faith. Hopefully this one actually gets some support since there seems to be some genuine effort going into it.
@TongkatAli
Don't blame the many over the actions of the few. Every console maker has their crazies. Nintendo is no different from Sony and Microsoft in this regard.
Even if you don't care for the games anymore, I don't think there is a single gamer out there who cannot appreciate the franchise's legacy and what it did for this industry.
