Well, they're not exactly cheap - $560 in Australia... plus I'm a teacher, so I earn less than most.
That said, I'm a frugal SOB, so whilst I could buy a brand-new PS4Pro tomorrow, I won't - not until the aforementioned compatibility/fps problems are fixed and I've seen some reviews for Horizon: Zero Dawn (which will almost-certainly get a PS4Pro bundle)... Helmets shmelmets - I'm just glad that we'll be able to holster our weapons... people say Mass Effect 3 was ruined by it's ending, but I thought it's worst aspect was the inexplicable removal of the 'holster weapon' button - sucked the immersion right out of exploration and other non-combat related activities.

This is why I'm waiting for next year's sales - more bang for my buck... that said, I expect a good 4K/HDR set still won't be 'cheap', so I want to save up enough $$$ to go all-out and buy one that I can be happy with for more than a few years.

Most of the games listed - particularly those with PC versions - will be upgraded... same goes for any 'old' XO game that uses dynamic scaling (Halo 5, The Witcher 3, The Division etc).
I expect we'll get our first look at the Scorpio versions at next year's E3, so it will be interesting to see how older games fare in-comparison to the PS4Pro (which runs some titles worse than their 'vanilla' counterparts), as well as the likes of Crackdown and Scale...
Yeah, I've never understood the fascination with sales figures - I guess it makes sense for Sony or Nintendo fans, as those companies are doomed without their consoles, whereas Microsoft have always had their PC/Windows base to offset any potential losses with regards to Xbox... either way, I still don't see why a corporation's profit margins should be of interest to anyone who isn't financially dependent upon said profits.

Automata's framerate is locked at 60fps for both the PS and PC versions, so I'd assume the xbox port would be the same - especially considering Platinum's preference for fps over resolution/flashy graphics... that said, Scalebound's last demo was a bit choppy, so here's hoping Kamiya&Co can smooth things out before it's release, otherwise I'll be holding out for the Scorpio version.
