So what should they do? Kojima wouldn’t say. “If I said what they should do, then people will just copy that thing, so I won’t say it here,” he explained.
This guy is so full of $#!t... I mean, I agree that VR is a long way from ubiquity, but to suggest that he knows the secret to 'true' VR - one which might keep the platform from going the way of motion-controlled gaming - and withhold it?! He's either the world's biggest asshole, or a compulsive liar... if...
Those rumors have since been debunked by both EA and CDPR, the latter of whom have been using their newfound wealth to buyback a majority of their own shares, thus pre-empting any potential Ubisoft/Vivendi style takeovers... with regards to Monnier's departure, I'm guessing he left for Techland because they offered him more $$$ - that, or he's REALLY into zombies!
Edit: Despite having bolstered their numbers in the wake of The Witcher's success, outspending ...
You might want to get a refund on that crystal ball... Wild Hunt is one of the most awarded titles in the history of videogames - one which improved upon it's predecessors in EVERY SINGLE WAY.
Santa Monica's last game was so great that Sony cancelled it - not to mention it's been years since Guerilla made a good game (Killzone 2)... and don't even get me started on Kojima - the guy's barely started work on Death Stranding and people are already calling i...
CDPR spent roughly 5 years developing Wild Hunt - not to mention the 'Blood and Wine' expansion, which released in May... With the way they work (1 game at a time), there's just NO WAY that Cyberpunk - which is said to be bigger and more ambitious than any of The Witcher titles - will release next year.
Edit: The XO version of the Witcher 3 uses dynamic scaling - tech that will allow for a performance boost on Scorpio, regardless of CDPR... that said, any gains ...
As always, I'm still looking forward to Below - my excitement all but died after that last delay, but Hyper Light Drifter has since revived it... Same goes for The Long Dark, which has been in beta for years and still doesn't have a release date, despite the fact that at least two episodes of it's Story Mode are now complete.
Then there's Facepunch Studios' (developers of Rust) 'Before', a survival game which mixes The Flame in the Flood's vi...
What we need is some proper, direct-feed footage... any improvements with regards to resolution and textures are all but impossible to perceive when you're watching through a camera - that, and YouTube vids have a tendency to butcher resolution.
Either way, BotW still has at least a few months before it releases - assuming it's still set to launch alongside the Switch - so here's hoping the differences are a little more pronounced by then... as it stands, this v...
Yeah, I hate Fallon too... I mean, he's funnier than Leno, but suicide's funnier than Leno.
So what's the verdict, Zelda fiends? Does this version look noticeably better than the Wii-U? Looked about the same to me, but it's been a while since I've watched any of the old footage, so I'm probably missing the little details...
While it's got nothing on the current model, it did pave the way for controllers that weren't designed primarily for kids, and was more comfortable to hold than it's peers (DS2/PS1/N64/Gamecube/Dreamcas t) - not to mention it introduced the offset thumbsticks, which are still a godsend in games that involve walking or running... that said, even my enormous mitts don't miss reaching for those black and white buttons - they've since grown accustomed to the decadent life of u...
I'm assuming you meant to write 'moan and GROAN'?
Why is that a bad thing? Seems to me it's exactly what anyone unfortunate enough to be marooned on an island full of psychopaths and undead Samurai would do... not to mention the fact that those moans have been used to create some SPECTACULAR 'fan-fiction' - haven't seen so much as a GIF of this Uncharted character!
I haven't actually played Uncharted 4, so I have no idea who Nadine is... I'm talking about the woman in the hijab - the brunette hair, the dark eyes and all that heavy breathing had me worried that I was watching a trailer for 'Shadow of the Tomb Raider', and that the new director had turned into a cinematic/QTE fest.
With regards to violent women, I've seen girls fight and they can be every bit as savage as men - ironic, seeing as a man is usually the ...
Your worried about having options?
They've already confirmed that all games and devices will be forward-compatible - Kinect included... Personally, I'm hoping they use it as their VR camera - hand-tracking could eliminate the need for move/touch style controllers and voice commands would make VR a more believable and immersive experience.
Microsoft can afford to take losses on the Scorpio - it's being marketed as a device for the hardcore gamers, who tend to buy a lot of games (which, along with Gold subs, is where the real $$$ is made)... the base model won't cost more than $500 - though I wouldn't be surprised if they release an 'elite' version with a SSD and an Elite controller.
Didn't Tomb Raider already do this? Hell, that woman even looks like a less-attractive Lara... thank God it wasn't!
Yes it is... Speaking of good news, did you hear Code Geass is getting a third season? Lelouche of the Resurrection!
What, you'd prefer a $1000 console?
I checked, and it's $26 in Australia - $21 with Gold - which seems reasonable... here's hoping Paypal can complete my transfer before the discount ends!
"Unnamed driving game", huh?
I'm gonna take a 'wild' guess and say it's Forza - the only racing game with adaptive AI... here's hoping these cars have good teachers, as they won't be able to rely on a 'rewind' button.
The Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales were amazing - I got Hitman, XCOM 2, Hyper Light Drifter, Telltale's Batman, Virginia and both of the Wolfenstiens for just shy of $150AU, which would normally be enough for 1 new game and a season-pass... I suppose this week's deals are disappointing by comparison, but I'm still considering ABZU, which has already been discounted, despite having only just released on xbox.
The Interview I just quoted?
