"What console war? It's too late for Sony to come back"
It's so late here, or early depending on your point of view, I had to double check what I read there.
Yup, it actually said what I thought it did.
Wow.
Yes I played this yesterday on PS4. There are several custom maps available, maybe 5 or so I think.
"Each year there are games, features, characters, stories or modes that change the way we view what a game can be and what it actually is."
In my experience that rarely happens, certainly not "each year". I haven't seen anything game changing about this title, and this article didn't explain much about Resistance Mode or why it would be so cool. I don't feel like I know anything more about the game than I did before.
Too bad. I enjoyed the first one ok, though I did by it very cheap. I was hoping the sequel would improve upon a decent concept.
I doubt anyone thinks delay automatically means a better game, but delaying a game in order to at least try to make it better is preferable to just putting it out there and maybe fixing it later.
There are all new bugs!
I greatly enjoy both the original and this expansion, but I have noticed new bugs when playing in new and old areas.
It's nowhere near as scary as PT.
"You wanna solo a DZ go ahead, and I assure you that you will be killed by teamers eventually."
You'll be killed by teamers eventually even if you're on a team yourself, I assure you.
The only issue I would have is if I lost all my gear every time that happens, but players can only take things you took from other players, not NPC drops.
I will play solo a lot, and I will have fun, I promise.
Thank the gaming gods.
@Eidolon - Divinity's combat is turn based, so it's not like either Diablo or Gauntlet. Should still be fun co-op though, if that sort of combat is fun for you and whoever you're playing with.
"Are you naysayers done?"
When you make a point of struggling against reality your work is never done.
I can't wait to see the amount of people pretending Destiny wasn't a success and isn't still heavily played.
Luckily I get to see that every time there's a Destiny article here.
OT - New expansion? I'm in! Sequel? I'm in!
Not at the current rate, and not if past generations are any indication.
"Time and time again, we get information that says that people who buy Xbox are the real gamers..."
lol Not sure what articles you're referring to but this one certainly doesn't say or prove any such thing.
Yeah the only tension Doom 1 and 2 had was "Damn look at all those enemies", "Damn look at that big enemy and all those smaller enemies", and "Oh no I picked up a power up, the lights went out, and I can hear lots of enemies".
Glad Doom is returning to it's roots. Doom 3 did nothing for me.
None of my gaming friends has an XB1, so obviously no one bought one, right?
; )
@Justin - Logic and math say johndoe is most likely correct.
I hate article titles that begin with "Why..." or "# Reasons Why...".
So lazy.
OT - I still play Destiny. I will play The Division. They are similar in some ways, clearly, but different enough that I'll play both. Both have cool things about them that the other doesn't have. Both have things about them that could be better. Destiny's flaws are well documented and The Division's will be soon enough. No game is perfect and no...
In the US, which is the biggest market, he's right.
