"The disagrees must be salty ps4 fanboys"
Right, because it's not possible that anyone could legitimately disagree that the game is worth playing through 3 times with "many more" play throughs in the future.
I can make a list of my all time favorites and I don't think I could say that about any of them. There's nothing wrong with him saying it and doing it, but it is possible to disagree without any sort of fanboy agenda.
If people want to pay for an early (unfinished) version, so what?
I'd do it with certain games, no question.
Dragon is right, and it has nothing to do with Playstation…
smh
@S2Killinit - No doubt. Looking forward to that myself.

OT - I'd probably buy an early access version, but oh well I can wait. Same goes for several other games. Make it happen, Sony!
I'm not sure enough people ever played DUST 514 to say "everyone was up in arms", but there were in fact cross play battles between EVE and DUST.
It was a cool concept with some sizable flaws, but I'd be interested in a sequel that addressed some of those flaws. I thought I heard there was a PS4 version coming, but maybe that's my imagination.
Dust 514 was free so I don't see your point, but I do find your name ironic.
@Tony - Yeah I still wish for MAG2, or even a PS4 remaster of MAG.
"i guess my point is valid since no one is addressing it"
Alternatively your point could be so obviously ridiculous that no one bothers. You may want to consider that possibility.
@Dragon - I applaud your answer to trauma.
@trauma - The fact that you use "up to" in relation to the console price and not the PC price is very telling. On both platforms the same game can have various purchase prices.
OT - I've been console gaming since the 70s. I've tried PC gaming a few times and have always gone back to console. Ease of use and ease of share/trade/sell are the main reasons, but I also got tired of looking forward to a f...
"Sadly getting penalized for the sleaziness of others is just FK wrong"
Welcome to Earth.
Yes this looks very cool to me. I have enough to play right now but I'm pretty sure I'll be buying this eventually.
Yeah all the Dark Zone footage I saw made it seem pretty large. I saw groups fighting up close and personal but I also saw people in extraction zones getting sniped from afar and having longer range battles.
I didn't get a code, just watched a lot of streams and videos. Based on that I used a Christmas gift card to preorder and pay off the game.
It looked great to me, but I already know if my little brother buys it to play with me he won't like it because it's open world, mission based, online, and RPG-like with it's shooting (headshots don't auto kill even the most basic enemies, or at least not with the low level weapons). Those things don't turn me off ...
I don't know anyone in real life of all my gaming friends who bought an XB1, but lots of people obviously did.
As for me, I was on the fence about The Division but watching beta footage made me go preorder and fully pay off the game with a Christmas gift card. No game is for everyone, in fact even the most played games are played by a minority of gamers, but this game looks pretty awesome to me.
I saw many streams and vids of people playing solo, so based on that the answer would be yes. I'm sure there will be some encounters that will seem to require a group, but think about the people who have soloed some or all of Destiny's raids. I'll be playing solo a lot when friends aren't online.
When I look in the PS Store at past PS+ titles they are usually highly rated, so the people who try them generally like them. In my opinion the complaints about PS+ freebies come from a relative minority who have the very mistaken belief that "AAA" means good/great game and "not AAA" means meh/bad game. In my experience the ratio of good to bad games is about the same with both AAA and non-AAA, but I'm also an old school gamer who grew up playing titles that would be c...
I've heard of it. Guess I'm special.
Looks interesting but I have plenty of games to play until The Division releases.
Nope. More people will play Call of Duty as usual.
Yeah I was surprised at how many streams and videos were people playing solo. I'll be lone wolfing a lot myself when friends aren't on.
"The beta is clearly decent. They gained a preorder from me."
Same. I was on the fence but after watching some streams and vids I preordered. Does it look like something totally new? Hell no, but the vast majority of games don't. Gaming, just like books and movies, is made of small variations on what has come before. There is nothing new under the sun.
Fox thinks most games are bad, if his comments are any indication. Makes me wonder why he doesn't get a different hobby. He starts hating and downplaying months before games are released.
OT - Season passes and DLC are here to stay. Wake up. There are still many games that don't have these things and no one forces you to buy the ones that do.
