VR can potentially fit into my gaming world. There are already a few PSVR games I'm very interested in, and I hope if the thing sells well there will be more.

I'd love to play Warthunder in VR, or Planetside 2. Eve Valkyrie looks very cool as a launch title, and I'm hoping No Man's Sky will support PSVR as well. I don't care about motion sensor VR games much, but if I can sit on my couch and have a controller in my hands VR will be that much more immersive...

What about the controller and surround sound? I know some phones can be paired with a controller but I don't know about getting good surround sound when casting your phone to the TV.

Bottom line is there are certain types of games I like to play at home and a few I don't mind playing when I'm, for example, waiting on my car to get inspected. For me, the two situations call for very different kinds of games. The ones I like to play when mobile don't need much p...

I'm a PS4 guy with no interest in XB1, and even I think this is a silly idea.

Still won't make me game more on my phone or tablet.

Controller, couch, big screen, and surround sound are major components in my gaming fun, not to mention that I like solitude when I'm getting into an atmospheric game. I just recently picked up SOMA cheap, and I can't imagine playing that game on the go. It would lose a lot of impact in my opinion.

Not only is it a day one purchase for me, it's the first Gold edition I've ever gone for. I rarely buy DLC and almost never buy season passes, but I'm all in for this one.

Lots of games don't reveal end game content before release, by the way.

@Juicy - They've also said some of the best gear is obtained through crafting. I think it's safe to say the endgame will be more than the DZ. They've talked about raids, just haven't con...

The map we could see in the beta doesn't back up the 6x estimate. It looks more like 4x bigger.

Maybe by "final map" they mean after all DLC is released, or maybe they're taking underground areas into account.

Either way I can't wait for this damn game!

When I went to upgrade my preorder to the Gold edition they wouldn't confirm a midnight release but I'm hoping.

Watching closed beta footage sold me on the game. Playing the open beta made me upgrade to the Gold edition.

Not really a good point when there are so many unrealistic elements already. I love the game but it might be the least realistic Clancy game ever.

I'd have no problems with a zombie expansion around next Halloween. 28 Days Later style zombies, not the Night of the Living Dead variety.

"...a chance for a subsequent release on consoles and even VR support."

Hope it comes to consoles and damn… VR would be amazing.

Decent AI and co-op.

"I don't see too many of them lasting for the long run."

I guess that depends on what you mean by long run. Destiny is still being heavily played and streamed over a year and a half later. Not many games can make that claim. Not many console games, anyway.

I don't think people like you realize how many gamers skip campaigns entirely and jump straight into multiplayer. The campaign is easily more expensive to make than the multiplayer, hence the rise of multiplayer only games.

Destiny 2 won't fail. Guaranteed.

And anyway, Destiny can be played solo. It just doesn't have the in your face storytelling that apparently some people need to justify their time with a game. For me, a good story can save a me...

Happened to me on PS4. I made a YT video out of it. They were getting enough kills to raise their Rogue status and get those points when the counter ran down.

Only saw it once all weekend though.

I know! I've never bought a Gold edition before but after the open beta I upgraded my preorder to Gold. Can't wait!

People that bashed Destiny a year ago are still doing it even though the game was and still is a success. People that are bashing Division now will still be doing it in a year no matter how successful it is. Blah blah blah watch and wait.

I like both games but I do find Division's PvP to be much more interesting than Destiny's. They're different enough that I don't think one can destroy the other though.

"Let them learn...I heard people saying roughly the same thing with Destiny and people brushed those concerns away...then look what happened."

Lots of people still playing a year and a half later, something not many games can claim. Still one of the most streamed games a year and a half later, something not many games can claim.

Let them learn indeed. Take your own advice. smh

Actually most accounts point to "it's fun". After playing the beta I did something I've never done before, upgraded my preorder to the Gold edition. First Gold edition I ever bought as a matter of fact, and the first time I've paid for a season pass at launch. The other two, I bought 6 months to a year later on sale. No game is for everyone so it's fine if you don't like it, but don't be surprised when it's a hit.

@inveni0 - Legally, it's a big deal. Most rational people know the legal system is a joke, but it can still get you in big trouble if you ignore it.
