Waiting patiently for GT5. Very patiently.

To be fair, when you break every game down into individual segments, they all end up consisting of nothing more than a bunch of repetitive actions strung together to form a whole.

Talk about flawed logic. In each of the cases you mentioned there is a massive different in quality (not sure about the prostitutes vs. wife though haha) which warrants the premium price. In regards to PSN vs. XBL however, the massive difference in quality is simply not there and the price difference, as a result, is not warranted.

....But it DID boost sales and it IS one of the best PS3 exclusives... Unless you're basing your opinion off of the Metacritic score. And if you are, then you're a fool and don't deserve to make such assumptions.

edit: Looking at your past comments on GT5, I regret ever responding to you.

I've had absolutely no problems with GT5's online either. It's easy to navigate and performs flawlessly, even on my subpar connection. That's impressive, to say the least.

Oooooohh yes, it is VITAL that you take all assists off (it's safe to leave ABS at 1 though), as they really really really slow you down. Like a ton.

But for someone in your situation, I would slowly start taking turning them down one by one until you become used to handling the car, turn down the assists a bit more, practice, repeat, etc.

And yeah, I agree that the rally challenges are pretty difficult, along with the NASCAR ones. I'm not even going ...

It was a good basic overview, but doesn't delve much into what I'd really call "tuning." It was a bit more like an upgrade guide.

For anyone that really wants to get deep into the GT tuning system, I advise checking out the following link (from GTPlanet). They're extremely in depth and can be a bit hefty, but the two guides hosted here are VERY very useful:

Well to be fair, the challenges are supposed to be hard, especially if you're aiming for gold. The good thing is though, if you keep at it and don't give up, you will eventually improve no matter how bad you've been at driving games in the past. Seriously, keep trying and watch your times slowly improve and improve until before you know it you're a decent driver and able to put in decent times. I'd say that that sort of experience is a large part of the fun in learning the...

And by asking what people think will happen, you are instigating comparisons between the two games. End of story. Stop being such a tool.

That seems a bit... lazy... on T10's part.

I mean, if what you say is true then this is more of a teaser for Top Gear US than for Forza 4, which is pretty sad.

Trying to compare a game that's just been released and a game that's going to be released in a year (probably more, factoring inevitable delays) about which we no literally NOTHING other than a real-time teaser is indeed trolling. Or a flagrant display of stupidity. Not that it matters either way.

...This guy came into the thing with overblown expectations in the first place. That violates a vital rule of journalism and reviewing; this man was not fit in any way to review this game. Or any game seeing as how he lets personal feelings of injustices get to him.

And before anyone says "lolz u just mad cuz he dint not score it well lolz," I couldn't care less what the score is. What matters is the integrity of the review, and good or bad, this review entirel...

The challenge unlocks at level 30, and you can win it by getting bronze medals on them.... But good luck with that, it's probably one of, if not the, hardest challenges ever in a GT game.

Or you can buy it for several million credits at level 40. But good luck reaching level 40 as well. :p

Yeah, notice how none of the people who are tearing it apart have actually played the damn thing.

I've already sunk a good 25+ hours into the game, and in my honest view the game looks amazing and plays amazing. Period. The end. No question about it.

And let me tell you, online is an absolute blast. It's so much fun to get together with your friends and just have ridiculous races.

And the best part? I played online for a few hours yesterday with some friends, and there was absolutely NO lag or connection issues, despite the servers being hammered. I was blown away by that.

And for your information, online does in fact work very well I might add. If it didn't, then please tell me how I was able to play online with my friends for hours with absolutely NO lag or connection issues?

And to be honest, if you were expecting perfection then you deserve to be disappointed. Because that is honestly pathetic. You should know by now that perfection does not exist in this world; you can get damn close, but nothing will ever be perfect.

Once the servers smooth out, everything should be fine.

Anyways yes, I agree, nobody should base their purchase or non-purchase on GT5 on the reviews. There is no review in the world that can fully sum up the content of the game or the experiences you will have playing it. I played for 12 hours straight yesterday, and I have to tell you, it felt like I was playing the GT series for the first time ever. Now THAT is an accomplishment.

And for those ignorant fo...

Saying they look "awful" is a pretty big exaggeration. They certainly don't look good when standing still (such as in a photograph), but in motion they look fine. More importantly, they all run on the new physics engine so it's like driving each car for the first time again!

Seriously, I'd say that about 70% of my playtime in GT5 so far has been with the standard cars and I'm having an absolute blast.

I've been playing it for a bit and the Top Gear challenges unlock fairly soon after you start the game, so don't worry. I think in order to unlock if for Arcade mode though, you need to get golds on the challenges so that may be a bit of work!

Looking better and better indeed! I finally got the game in my grubby paws; the wait for the installation is killing me and watching all of these great videos isn't helping!

It means that those idiots who would otherwise just run around crashing their car everywhere like they are playing Burnout are forced to actually learn how to play properly and race properly as they can get no satisfaction from damage in the early stages of the game.

Hopefully this means less morons in the online portion, but as is always the case with games, that's probably just wishful thinking!
