say what you say about HipHopGamer but he sure is enthusiastic and treats his interviewees like f*cking royalty!

i like his approach a lot. (at least in doing interviews). he asks pretty much the same questions i would ask too. like what genres are Crytek looking at bringing to the consoles... i would LOVE to see them do a third-person open world adventure or something. too bad they're so tight-lipped.

i once had to leave in a hurry to visit my parents for a few days, so i "turned off" Windows XP, but it took way too long, so i just left it like that and ran out the door, assuming it would eventually shutdown by itself, because thats what i ordered it to do.

when i came back 3-4 days later, it was still stuck on the "shutting down Windows" screen. noooot good.

one of my favorite games of all time, in the 20 years i've been playing games. and i have a ps3.

so thanks Bethesda and Microsoft for making me miss out, and Sony for not even trying to get the DLC. im not bitter at all, nope...

i absolutely and literally HATE exclusive DLC. and exclusive demos. and timed exclusives. and this whole f*cking gen of gaming. it has done nothing but divide gamers, there is more hate now than EVER. it has never been this bad. yet, some cho...

wow, calm down.

why do you feel the need to put down Prototype? WHY?

regarding Mass Effect on PS3... we should be asking the right question: did Mass Effect sell enough on Xbox 360 for Microsoft to want to keep the trilogy exclusive? is there enough incentive for them to persuade Bioware/EA (if EA can even be persuaded lol) to keep it exclusive?

did ME sell Gears/Halo numbers? if not, why would Microsoft want to secure the sequel(s) as exclusives? does it make sense for them?

i dunno really. i guess we will see. i do hope that develop...

the gravity gun WAS a mind-bending innovation in 2004. combined with the physics engine, that sh*t was something gamers had never seen before. everyone knows this.

im not a Valve fanboy though, not even a huge fan of HL2 (never finished it, rather treated it as a tech demo for the physics)

hmm, no wonder this game dropped off my radar, it was never released here either :D

i love horror games so i might pick this up, it looks decent and FPS games can be fun to play on the DS (Metroid Prime: Hunters had awesome controls).

"such a vivid game-world" sounds about right. LOVE the colors and everything. i dont know what it is about the visuals but it just looks very pleasing to my eye.

i havent played the previous Yakuza games but i tried the demo of this. it was pretty fun to play, the combat is great. loved how you could pull out a smoke in the middle of a brawl lol. (don't think smoking is cool in real life but it was funny).

those are the most important aspects in a game to you, how fast/slow you rank up, and length of the campaign..?

same reason people care about Heavy Rain, it's a bit more mature than most games out. i think a lot of people are like me and are just STARVING for more games that we can actually take seriously, and not cringe at every ridiculous cutscene or bad dialogue.

im bummed that it isnt coming to PS3, i might have to wait for Onlive lol.

dont get why people disagreed.

yeah you're right, we dont have any big game companies here in Finland, Remedy is the biggest i think and even them have quite a small team. if i remember correctly it's less than 30 people actually.

so yeah, they've got a lot of work to do :P but from what i know, they are perfectionists and want the game to be good, no matter how long it takes.

that's like comparing a balance board to a videogame system... doesn't make sense to me.

hmm, even Square-Enix is less pompous with their trailers... i mean, it takes some balls to show NOTHING to all the millions of fans who love them. just rude in my opinion. what are they thinking? "we dont even have to show them anything, the stupid kids will still buy our game in the millions muahahahhaha"?

thats the feeling i got.

at least show 2-5 seconds of something done with the game engine, like normal teasers made by normal people without delusions ...

easy for them to say... probably in the top 5 richest developers that have ever existed. (at least they should be considering the sales).

i'd like to hear them say that to a smaller, struggling developer... kind of rude to be honest, if you think about it. here's a developer that TRULY doesnt make games for profit: ArtDink. they are the company that made the PS3 diving game Aquanaut's Holiday. i'd say it takes balls and a true not-for-profit attitude to make a freaking diving gam...

hmm if thats true, and the PS3 version doesnt have screentearing... i would then prefer the PS3 version graphically, as tearing is REALLY annoying, even if it just happens a little bit.

but thats just me i guess... preferences, preferences.

multiplatform comparisons are indeed getting old.

i mean, it's always the same thing, a game is using an engine mainly built for the Xbox 360, it just doesnt transfer that well to the PS3. well i mean it does, perfectly well to satisfy me and many others who dont have magnifying glasses.

Capcom's Framework MT engine is a perfect example of why multiplatform games are often slightly less attractive, it just doesnt work 100% on the PS3, every game using it so far has r...

i have a feeling you will be eating your words sometime in the future :P

sure the glasses might make you look like a chump (as if people look "cool" sitting in front of a videogame console anyway..), but it WILL make games more immersive, i would bet on it.

Elder Scrolls V in 3D.

imagine that. (or insert another, highly-immersive game series favorite of yours :P)
