i am seriously getting tired of this. because in the back of my mind im considering getting a 360 or upgrading my PC to play ME and ME2, if neither one will ever come to the PS3. but since they're not giving us solid info, i have no idea what to do. i REALLY, REALLY have no idea what to believe, getting way too confusing. i've begun to hate this generation...

Killzone 2 is not trying to imitate GeOW's style. there are no huge monsters or other over-the-top stuff. and the humans are realistic size in KZ2, their calves are not thicker than their thighs. i dont see similarities in the setting or story either. or level design. or pretty much anything.
and people need to realize that KZ2 is more SUBTLE. it's INTENTIONALLY rather ...
ok Nintendo here's your chance, you've made gazillions with the Wii, put that money into getting this tech into your next console. make an über-realistic looking Zelda adventure that will blow people's minds into dimensions yet unknown. ohh and Metroid too.

i just dont get it. i'm playing the game on Veteran difficulty which is pretty challenging, and i'm no FPS expert, but i do just fine with the controls, either with default or Alt 2 (i've switched between them a couple times since im not sure which one i prefer).

solution for the chaotic online and people not caring about the objectives and just nade/rocket spamming everywhere:
play smaller games. 8 vs 8 or 4 vs 4 or whatever. it's much more tactical and exciting!
i personally cant play full 32/32 player games anymore.. wayyyy too much chaos going on. though they can be fun just for the laughs.
bad code is bad code, the console is not to blame most of the time.
Orange Box was bad code on the PS3 for example, no one in their right mind would suggest the PS3 is unable to handle that.
also, Bully port from PS2 to Xbox 360... now THAT'S another example of bad code.
i dont know any 360 gamer who plays let alone LOVES Halo... then again i live in Europe (Finland). all the 360 gamers i know are into COD, L4D etc. but NO ONE plays Halo, not even a single person i know. kind of weird.
i love the controls, as i hate twitchy gaming, i feel too old for that, im really no match for a 15 year olds reflexes... so KZ2 is much better for me than COD games and less frustrating :)
also, even a simple thing like RUNNING feels and looks so awesome in this game.. i love it. and jumping. and the fact that you dont get stuck in random objects that any normal human being would be able to get past. (happened to me ALL THE TIME on COD4...)

i actually agree, and i've played quite a lot of online shooters. Unreal Tournament, Counter-Strike for 2 years non-stop... COD4 etc.
but this game just.. i dunno, it's just incredible.
i don't believe it will be PS3 exclusive, but it's not entirely impossible.
think about it, it's obvious Rockstar are passionate about their franchise, and it's obvious they will want to outdo GTAIV next time. they don't SOLELY care about the money, they care about their product too. so, will one DVD still really be enough? really? i mean we're probably talking about 2011, or 2012. i mean.. come on. and PS3 install base is already big enough to support it, and if it was announced...
